Precision isochronous mass measurements at the storage ring CSRe in Lanzhou
Xiao-Lin Tu,Meng Wang,Yuri A. Litvinov,Yuri A. Litvinov,Yuhu Zhang,H.S. Xu,Zhili Sun,G. Audi,Klaus Blaum,C. M. Du,W. Huang,Zhiyuan Hu,P. Geng,Shi-Lun Jin,Lubei Liu,Yong’an Liu,B. Mei,Ruishi Mao,Xinwen Ma,H. Suzuki,Peng Shuai,Yang Sun,Yang Sun,Tang Shuwen,Juan Wang,Shanfeng Wang,Guoqing Xiao,Xu Xiangyan,Jun Xia,Jianqing Yang,R.P. Ye,Takayuki Yamaguchi,Xinliang Yan,You-Jin Yuan,Yoshitaka Yamaguchi,Y. D. Zang,Zhao Hongyun,T. C. Zhao,Xianming Zhang,Xiaojuan Zhou,W. L. Zhan +40 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new data-analysis technique has been developed to correct the drifts in the revolution frequencies caused by instabilities of the magnetic fields in the CSRe, thus yielding a mass resolving power of R = m / Δ m ≈ 1.7 × 10 5 (sigma).
Journal ArticleDOI
A high performance Time-of-Flight detector applied to isochronous mass measurement at CSRe
B. Mei,Xiao-Lin Tu,Meng Wang,Hu-Shan Xu,Ruishi Mao,Hu Zhengguo,Xinwen Ma,You-Jin Yuan,Xueying Zhang,P. Geng,P. Shuai,P. Shuai,Y. D. Zang,Tang Shuwen,Peng Ma,Wan Lu,Xinshuai Yan,Jiawen Xia,Guoqing Xiao,Zhongyan Guo,Hongbin Zhang,Ke Yue +21 more
TL;DR: A high performance Time-of-Flight detector has been designed and constructed for isochronous mass spectrometry at the experimental Cooler Storage Ring (CSRe) as discussed by the authors, which has been successfully used in an experiment to measure the masses of the N approximate to Z approximate to 33 nuclides near the proton drip line.
Journal ArticleDOI
The plastic scintillator detector for DAMPE
Yu-Hong Yu,Zhi-Yu Sun,Hong Su,Yang Yaqing,Jie Liu,Jie Kong,Guoqing Xiao,Xinwen Ma,Yong Zhou,Zhao Hongyun,Dan Mo,Yongjie Zhang,Peng Yang,Junling Chen,Yang Haibo,Fang Fang,Shengxia Zhang,Huijun Yao,Jinglai Duan,Niu Xiaoyang,Hu Zhengguo,Zhao-Min Wang,Xiaohui Wang,Zhang Jingzhe,Wenqiang Liu +24 more
TL;DR: The Plastic Scintillator Detector (PSDAMPE) as mentioned in this paper plays an important role in particle charge measurement and the photons/electrons discrimination and can identify the atomic number Z/charge states of relativistic ions from H to Fe.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electron emission from single-electron capture with simultaneous single-ionization reactions in 30-keV/u He 2+ -on-argon collisions
Xinwen Ma,R. T. Zhang,S. F. Zhang,Xiaolong Zhu,Wentian Feng,Dalong Guo,B. Li,H. P. Liu,C. Y. Li,Jianguo Wang,S. Yan,Pengli Zhang,Qian Wang +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, electron emission from single-electron capture with simultaneous single ionization in 30 keV/u He${}^{2+}$ on argon was investigated using a reaction microscope, providing the electron energy spectra and momentum distributions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Radiative electron capture and subsequent radiative decay in collisions of U89+ ions with N-2
Jianjie Wan,Chenzhong Dong,Xiaobin Ding,Xinwen Ma,J. Rzadkiewicz,Thomas Stöhlker,Stephan Fritzsche +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the relativistic radiative recombination program RERR06 based on the multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock method was used to evaluate the radiative electron capture for the collisions of a U.S. ion with a N.
