Service-aware 6G: An intelligent and open network based on the convergence of communication, computing and caching

TL;DR: This paper identifies key enabling technologies for an intelligent and open 6G network, all featured with 3C convergence, including 3C-based spectrum management, radio channel construction, delay-aware transmission, wireless distributed computing, and network self-evolution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Statistical Multiplexing Gain Analysis of Processing Resources in Centralized Radio Access Networks

TL;DR: This paper analyzes the SMG of processing resources based on a temporal–spatial joint traffic distribution model, which considers the mobile data traffic distribution both in the time and space domains and derives a formula and a closed-form approximation for that when the spatial traffic distribution is lognormal distribution.
