Ir(iii)-Catalyzed direct C-H functionalization of N-phenylacetamide with α-diazo quinones: a novel strategy for producing 2-hydroxy-2'-amino-1,2'-biaryl scaffolds.

TL;DR: α-Diazo quinones were applied in an Ir(iii)-catalyzed direct C-H functionalization assisted by N-phenylacetamide for the construction of highly functionalized 2-hydroxy-2'-amino-1,1'-biaryl scaffolds in good to excellent yields.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of Highly Fused Pyrano[2,3-b]pyridines via Rh(III)-Catalyzed C-H Activation and Intramolecular Cascade Annulation under Room Temperature.

TL;DR: A facile access to the polycyclic fused pyrano[2,3-b]pyridines has been established under room temperature via Rh(III)-catalyzed C-H bond activation and intramolecular cascade annulation and this strategy can be extended to the late-stage functionalization of drugs possessing CN group.
