Ordered mesoporous silica fibers: effects of synthesis conditions on fiber morphology and length

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of TBOS content, interface area, height of source, and humidity of the environment were varied to study their effect on fiber growth, and the results showed that the TBOS contents and interface area do not have a significant impact on results of ordered mesoporous silica fibers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Characterization of Ordered Meso-Macro-Porous Silica Membranes on a Porous Alumina Support*

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrated the feasibility of obtaining a 3D ordered macroporous silica membrane on a porous support using poly-methyl methacrylate (PMMA) spheres as the template.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microporous and dense ceramic membranes prepared by CVD and EVD

TL;DR: In this paper, a modified chemical vapour deposition (CVD) and electrochemical vapor deposition (EVD) technique is developed to prepared microporous or dense ceramic membranes by modifying ultrafiltration alumina membranes.
Journal Article

Permeation of compressed and supercritical fluids through porous membranes

TL;DR: In this article, a new model equation was developed by modifying the two-term dusty-gas model, and the variation of viscosity with pressure, especially in the near-critical region where the possible abnormal change of viscoities with pressure may exist, was considered in the model development.
