Journal ArticleDOI

Growth of AgBr/Ag 3 PO 4 Heterojunction on Chitosan Fibers for Degrading Organic Pollutants

TL;DR: In this article, the AgBr and Ag3PO4 photocatalyst particles were loaded onto the surface of chitosan fiber via chelation and in situ anion exchange method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polyphenylene Sulfide Ultrafine Fibrous Membrane Modified by Nanoscale ZIF-8 for Highly Effective Adsorption, Interception, and Recycling of Iodine Vapor.

TL;DR: This study provides a promising strategy to fabricate novel adsorption materials for the collection of radioactive iodine during nuclear waste disposal using nanoscale ZIF-8 and polyphenylene sulfide non-woven fabric.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-performance polyphenylene sulfide composites with ultra-high content of glass fiber fabrics

TL;DR: In this article, the high strength and rigidity composites composed of ultra-high content of glass fiber fabrics (GFF) and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) nonwovens were successfully fabricated by a facile thermo-compression lamination method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fabrication and application of poly (phenylene sulfide) ultrafine fiber

TL;DR: In this article, the authors provide an overall investigation about the fabrication process of PPS ultrafine fiber including sea-island melt spinning, melt electrospinning and melt-blown spinning as well as the application of poly(phenylene sulfide) ultrafine fibers based materials like high temperature filter, lithium ion battery separator, high strength and high modulus composites, catalytic, adsorption, degradation membrane and so on.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polyphenylene sulfide microfiber membrane with superhydrophobicity and superoleophilicity for oil/water separation

TL;DR: In this paper, a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) microfiber membrane was firstly employed as the substrate for separation, and polyethylene wax (PEW) powder and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) ultrafine powder were simply and effectively introduced on the PPS membrane by employing one-step spray-coating method.
