Journal ArticleDOI

Stabilization of heavy metals in MSWI fly ash using silica fume.

TL;DR: Although exchangeable and weak-acid soluble fractions of Cu and Zn increased with hydration time, silica fume addition of 10% can satisfy the requirement of detoxification for heavy metals investigated in terms of the identification standard of hazardous waste of China.

Method for stabilization of refuse incineration fly ash

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method for stabilization of refuse incineration fly ash, which includes the following steps: 85 to 98 percent by weight of fly ash and 2 to 15 percent of metakaolin are uniformly mixed, added with alkaline solution, in which the amount of added solid accounts for 1 to 10 percent of the total weight and the water-ash ratio is 0.2 to 0.45.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study on preparation and performance of alkali-activated low carbon recycled concrete: corn cob biomass aggregate

TL;DR: In this paper , a green low carbon recycled concrete (LCRC) was used to prepare green ecological construction materials for liveable villages, and the results showed that LCRC with a higher concentration of alkali exciter has better mechanical and thermal insulation properties, but poorer shrinkage properties.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quantitative characterization of material uniformity and fatigue life reliability based on the initial damage discreteness

TL;DR: In this article , a quantitative characterization method for scattering behaviors of experimental fatigue lives has been developed based on the probabilistic distribution of material's initial damage, which is a characteristic property of structural material.
