Journal ArticleDOI
Topologically protected refraction of robust kink states in valley photonic crystals
Fei Gao,Haoran Xue,Zhaoju Yang,Kueifu Lai,Kueifu Lai,Yang Yu,Xiao Lin,Yidong Chong,Gennady Shvets,Baile Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the spin-orbit coupling in one of the VPC domains was used for topologically protected chiral edge (kink) transport in VPCs with opposite valley-Chern indices.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fabrication of Ultralong Hybrid Microfibers from Nanosheets of Reduced Graphene Oxide and Transition‐Metal Dichalcogenides and their Application as Supercapacitors
Gengzhi Sun,Juqing Liu,Juqing Liu,Xiao Zhang,Xuewan Wang,Hai Li,Yang Yu,Wei Huang,Hua Zhang,Peng Chen +9 more
TL;DR: This work developed a general strategy for the fabrication of ultralong hybrid microfibers from a mixture of reduced graphene oxide and transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), including MoS2, TiS2 , TaS2 and NbSe2 .
Journal ArticleDOI
A loss-free multipathing solution for data center network using software-defined networking approach
TL;DR: Simulation results show that the combined solution can further improve network throughput with FFD mechanism and guarantee loss-free delivery with integrated CC, and Software-Defined Networking techniques are employed in the implementation, which decouples routing intelligence from data transmission.
Journal ArticleDOI
Quantum transport in a one-dimensional quantum dot array
TL;DR: Jauho et al. as mentioned in this paper studied electronic transport through a quantum dot array containing an arbitrary number of quantum dots connected in a series by tunnel coupling under dc bias, and calculated the dc current in both finite and infinite number dots in the array.
Journal ArticleDOI
Exciting reflectionless unidirectional edge modes in a reciprocal photonic topological insulator medium
TL;DR: In this article, a rotating magnetic dipole antenna, composed of two perpendicularly oriented coils, was proposed to efficiently excite the unidirectional topologically protected surface waves in the bianisotropic metawaveguide (BMW) structure.
