Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of optical, mechanical, and thermal properties of ZrO2-doped Y2O3 transparent ceramics fabricated by HIP
Xiaokai Li,Yangyang Xu,Yangyang Xu,Xiaojian Mao,Qiangqiang Zhu,Junxi Xie,Minghui Feng,Benxue Jiang,Long Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of the ZrO 2 content on the sintering behaviors, optical transmission spectra, Vickers hardness, grain size, size distribution, and Raman spectra were determined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fabrication of transparent yttria ceramics by alcoholic slip-casting
Yangyang Xu,Yangyang Xu,Xiaojian Mao,Jintai Fan,Xiaokai Li,Minghui Feng,Benxue Jiang,Fang Lei,Long Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), polyethylene glycol (PEG) and polyethylenimine (PEI) as dispersants to improve the rheological properties of Y 2 O 3 transparent ceramics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation and Optical Properties of Infrared Transparent 3Y-TZP Ceramics
Chuanfeng Wang,Xiaojian Mao,Ya-Pei Peng,Benxue Jiang,Jintai Fan,Yangyang Xu,Long Zhang,Jingtai Zhao +7 more
TL;DR: The results indicate that Y-TZP ceramic is a potential candidate for high-speed infrared windows and domes and the emittance property of 3Y-TzP ceramic at high temperature was found to be superior to those of sapphire and spinel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optical and thermal properties of TiO2-doped Y2O3 transparent ceramics synthesized by hot isostatic pressing
Xiaokai Li,Qiangqiang Zhu,Yangyang Xu,Yangyang Xu,Xiaojian Mao,Minghui Feng,Benxue Jiang,Long Zhang +7 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Granulation of Y2O3 powders by a vibration method for the preparation of transparent ceramics
Xiaokai Li,Yangyang Xu,Yangyang Xu,Xiaojian Mao,Qiangqiang Zhu,Minghui Feng,Benxue Jiang,Long Zhang +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a modified vibrating screen method was employed to prepare granulated Y2O3 powders, which were used to fabricate transparent ceramics and achieved a high transmittance of 82% at 2500 nm.
