Colloidal Synthesis of Air-Stable Alloyed CsSn1–xPbxI3 Perovskite Nanocrystals for Use in Solar Cells

TL;DR: The synthesis of alloyed perovskite quantum dot (QD), CsSn1-xPbxI3 is reported, which not only can be phase-stable for months in purified colloidal solution but also remains intact even directly exposed to ambient air, far superior to both of its parent Cs SnI3 and CsPbI3 QDs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mixed Sn–Ge Perovskite for Enhanced Perovskite Solar Cell Performance in Air

TL;DR: This work proposes a new type of perovskite material based on mixed tin and germanium, which showed a band gap around 1.4-1.5 eV as measured from photoacoustic spectroscopy, which is ideal from the perspective of solar cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Boosting Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction on CsPbBr3 Perovskite Nanocrystals by Immobilizing Metal Complexes

TL;DR: In this article, metal complexes are used for converting CO2 into chemical fuels with a photocatalyst and sunlight, which is an appealing approach to address climate deterioration and energy crisis.
Journal ArticleDOI

All-Inorganic CsPb 1-x Ge x I 2 Br Perovskite with Enhanced Phase Stability and Photovoltaic Performance

TL;DR: Novel inorganic CsPb1-x Gex I2 Br perovskite solar cells prepared in humid ambient atmosphere without a glovebox showed nearly no decay after 7 h measurement in 50-60 % relative humidity without encapsulation and the phase stability of the all-inorganic perovkite was effectively enhanced after germanium addition.
