Doping dependence of the spatially modulated dynamical spin correlations and the superconducting-transition temperature in La 2-x Sr x CuO 4
Kohta Yamada,Chul-Ho Lee,K. Kurahashi,Junichiro Wada,S. Wakimoto,S. Ueki,Hisamichi Kimura,Yasuo Endoh,S. Hosoya,Gen Shirane,Robert J. Birgeneau,Martin Greven,Marc Kastner,Young-June Kim +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, a low-energy spin-fluctuation peak position shifts from ($\frac{1}{2}$ to ($ \frac{ 1}{2$\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{ \ensuremath{\delta}=x$, and the peak momentum width of the spin fluctuations at low energies is small throughout the superconducting concentration region.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic, transport, and optical properties of monolayer copper oxides
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors review the results of a wide variety of experiments on materials such as weakly coupled antiferromagnetic insulators with very large Heisenberg exchange energies, which become high-temperature superconductors when charge carriers are added to the layers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic excitations in pure, lightly doped, and weakly metallic La2CuO4.
B. Keimer,N. Belk,Robert J. Birgeneau,A. Cassanho,Changchen Chen,Martin Greven,Marc Kastner,Amnon Aharony,Yasuo Endoh,Ross Erwin,Gen Shirane +10 more
TL;DR: A comprehensive neutron-scattering study of the evolution of the magnetic excitations in La[sub 2[minus][ital x]]Sr[sub [ital x],CuO[sub 4] for 0[le][ital X][le]0.04.
Journal ArticleDOI
Resonant X-Ray Scattering from Orbital Ordering in LaMnO 3
Yoichi Murakami,John Hill,Doon Gibbs,M. Blume,I. Koyama,M. Tanaka,Hiroshi Kawata,Taka-hisa Arima,Y. Tokura,K. Hirota,Yasuo Endoh +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a theory for the resonant scattering mechanism has been developed by considering the splitting of the Mn $4p$ levels due to the orbital ordering, concomitant with a structural phase transition.
Journal ArticleDOI
Antiferromagnetism of γ Iron Manganes Alloys
Yasuo Endoh,Yoshikazu Ishikawa +1 more
TL;DR: The magnetic phase diagram of γ Fe-Mn alloys has been investigated in the whole range of composition by neutron diffraction and other techniques as discussed by the authors, and the results agree qualitatively with the prediction based on the band theory.
