Coiled-coil networking shapes cell molecular machinery

TL;DR: A comprehensive map of coiled-coil interactions (CCIs) in yeast is reported and computational analysis reveals that CCIs are extensively involved in cell machinery organization.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Computationally Guided Protein-Interaction Screen Uncovers Coiled-Coil Interactions Involved in Vesicular Trafficking

TL;DR: This paper introduces a combined computational/experimental screening strategy that was used to uncover coiled-coil interactions among proteins involved in vesicular trafficking in Saccharomyces cerevisiae and uncovers a number of associations that may have functional significance for vesicle trafficking.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pseudovirus-based neuraminidase inhibition assays reveal potential H5N1 drug-resistant mutations.

TL;DR: A rapid and biosafe assay based on NA pseudovirus was developed to study the resistance of HPAI H5N1 virus to NA inhibitor drugs and identified several oseltamivir-resistant mutations reported in human H1N1 that could be used to monitor H PAI H 5N1 drug resistance rapidly and safely.
