Coiled-coil networking shapes cell molecular machinery
Yongqiang Wang,Xinlei Zhang,Hong Zhang,Yi Lu,Haolong Huang,Xiaoxi Dong,Jinan Chen,J. M. Dong,Xiao Yang,Haiying Hang,Taijiao Jiang +10 more
TL;DR: A comprehensive map of coiled-coil interactions (CCIs) in yeast is reported and computational analysis reveals that CCIs are extensively involved in cell machinery organization.
Journal ArticleDOI
3 PF 2 pairing in high-density neutron matter
TL;DR: In this paper, the pairing gap is shown to be nonvanishing in a range of densities about $0.1--0.4\phantom{\rule{0.28em}{0ex}}{\text{fm}}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$ with a peak value a bit less than 0.05 MeV.
Journal ArticleDOI
Corrosion behavior of AZ91D magnesium alloy in sodium sulfate solution
TL;DR: In this paper, the corrosion behavior of as-cast AZ91D magnesium alloy in 0.1M sodium sulfate solution at the corrosion potential (E-corr) was investigated by using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopic (EDS) and Xray diffraction (XRD).
Journal ArticleDOI
Systematic study of tensor effects in shell evolution
TL;DR: In this article, the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov approach with the Skyrme interactions was used to investigate the effect of the tensor force on the shell evolution at different sets of the TIJ parametrizations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fine structure of α decay to rotational states of heavy nuclei
TL;DR: In this paper, the relative intensities of $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ decay to $2{}^{+}$ and $4{}−1+$ rotational states in the framework of the generalized liquid drop model (GLDM) and improved Royer's formula.
