Ultrafast All-Optical Graphene Modulator
Wei Li,Bigeng Chen,Chao Meng,Wei Fang,Yao Xiao,Xiyuan Li,Zhifang Hu,Yingxin Xu,Limin Tong,Hongqing Wang,Wei-Tao Liu,Jiming Bao,Y. Ron Shen,Y. Ron Shen +13 more
TL;DR: It is shown that a graphene-clad microfiber all-optical modulator can achieve a modulation depth of 38% and a response time of ∼ 2.2 ps, limited only by the intrinsic carrier relaxation time of graphene.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fabrication of high-Q lithium niobate microresonators using femtosecond laser micromachining
Jintian Lin,Yingxin Xu,Zhiwei Fang,Min Wang,Jiangxin Song,Nengwen Wang,Lingling Qiao,Wei Fang,Ya Cheng +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a high-Q lithium niobate (LN) whispering gallery mode (WGM) microresonators suspended on silica pedestals were fabricated by femtosecond laser direct writing followed by focused ion beam (FIB) milling.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phase-Matched Second-Harmonic Generation in an On-Chip L i NbO 3 Microresonator
Jintian Lin,Yingxin Xu,Jielei Ni,Min Wang,Zhiwei Fang,Zhiwei Fang,Lingling Qiao,Wei Fang,Ya Cheng,Ya Cheng +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate highly efficient nonlinear frequency conversion in a microdisk resonator about 100 εm across, which is a significant step toward chip-integrated nonlinear optical devices.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrasensitive skin-like wearable optical sensors based on glass micro/nanofibers
Lei Zhang,Jing Pan,Zhang Zhang,Hao Wu,Ni Yao,Dawei Cai,Yingxin Xu,Jin Zhang,Guofei Sun,Liqiang Wang,Weidong Geng,Wenguang Jin,Wei Fang,Dawei Di,Limin Tong +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, highly sensitive skin-like wearable optical sensors are demonstrated by embedding glass micro/nanofibers (MNFs) in thin layers of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS).
