Journal ArticleDOI

Formation of N, S-codoped fluorescent carbon dots from biomass and their application for the selective detection of mercury and iron ion.

TL;DR: It is found that the preparation of PCDs-m with pigeon manure has no favourable selectively with heavy metal ions, however, other PCDs exhibit highly sensitive and selective detection behavior of Hg2+/Fe3+ ions with a low detection limit of 10.3 and 60.9nM.
Journal ArticleDOI

Construction of carbon nanodots/tungsten trioxide and their visible-light sensitive photocatalytic activity.

TL;DR: The results indicate that carbon nanodots/tungsten trioxide has potential applications in the degradation of organic pollutants in industrial waste water.
Journal ArticleDOI

Carbon nanodots prepared for dopamine and Al(3+) sensing, cellular imaging and logic gate operation.

TL;DR: This CNDs based fluorescent probe was favorably applied to the analyses of dopamine in biological fluids and Al(3+) in food samples and can be utilized as logic gates at the molecular level.
Journal ArticleDOI

Carbon nanodots prepared for cellular imaging and turn-on detection of glutathione

TL;DR: The CNDs were found to be an effective fluorescence sensing platform for turn-on detection of glutathione (GSH) and showed a good linear relationship between GSH concentration and the relative fluorescence intensity of the system.
