Journal ArticleDOI

Highly Stable Vanadium Redox-Flow Battery Assisted by Redox-Mediated Catalysis.

TL;DR: Due to the uniformly distributed PB particles that are strongly bound to the surface of carbon fibers in CF, VRBs with the PB/CF electrodes show much better long-term stabilities compared with the pristine CF-based battery due to the redox-mediated catalysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-Entropy Alloys for Electrocatalysis: Design, Characterization, and Applications

TL;DR: In this paper, the latest advances in HEA electrocatalysts are systematically summarized, with special focus on nitrogen fixation, the carbon cycle, water splitting, and fuel cells; in addition, by combining this with the characterization and analysis of HEA microstructures, rational design strategies for optimizing HEAs, including controllable preparation, component regulation, strain engineering, defect engineering, and theoretical prediction are proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Large scale preparation of 20 cm × 20 cm graphene modified carbon felt for high performance vanadium redox flow battery

TL;DR: In this article, a graphene modified carbon felt (G/CF) with a large area of 20 cm × 20 cm has been successfully prepared by a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) strategy, achieving outstanding electrocatalytic redox reversibility of the VRFBs.
Journal ArticleDOI

A high-performance ammonia plasma-treated WO3 @carbon felt electrode for vanadium redox flow batteries

TL;DR: In this article, vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFBs) are considered as storage technologies for renewable energy, among which vanadium REDO flow batteries have become increasingly critical.

Preparation method of macro graphene modified electrode material

TL;DR: In this article, a preparation method of a macro graphene modified electrode material, relates to the field of electrode materials for all-vanadium redox flow batteries (VRB), particularly to apreparation method for a graphene modified carbon felt suitable for high-performance and macroscopic production of an allvanadium REDO flow battery, and aims to solve the problems of poor conductivity, low specific surface area, low electrochemical activity, poor vanadium ion couple catalytic performance, low single battery performance, high cost and the like of a commercial carbon felt electrodefor a
