Collision of the North China and Yangtse Blocks and formation of coesite-bearing eclogites: Timing and processes☆
Shuguang Li,Yilin Xiao,Deliang Liou,Yizhi Chen,Ningjie Ge,Zongqing Zhang,Shen-Su Sun,Bolin Cong,Ruyuang Zhang,Stanley R. Hart,Songshan Wang +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the uplift history of eclogite in the Dabie Mountains can be subdivided into two stages: (1) fast uplift driven by thrust during continental-continental collision and deep subduction (at 221 Ma) of the continental crust; (2) later gentle uplift with rise of the Dabbie Mountains in the late Jurassic and Cretaceous (at 134 Ma).
Journal ArticleDOI
Excess argon in phengite from eclogite: Evidence from dating of eclogite minerals by SmNd, RbSr and 40Ar39Ar methods
TL;DR: The existence of excess Ar in phengites from coesite-bearing ultrahigh-pressure eclogites of the Dabie Mountains and SuLu terrain, China, has been confirmed by dating of minerals using SmNd, RbSr and 40Ar39Ar methods as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sm/Nd, Rb/Sr, and40Ar/39Ar Isotopic Systematics of the Ultrahigh-Pressure Metamorphic Rocks in the Dabie-Sulu Belt, Central China: A Retrospective View
TL;DR: In this article, the isotopic systematics of the ultrahigh pressure (UHP) metamorphic rocks in the Dabie-Sulu belt, east China, appear to be rather different from what were expected.
