Polygenetic titanite records the composition of metamorphic fluids during the exhumation of ultrahigh‐pressure metagranite in the Sulu orogen
Journal ArticleDOI
Magma mixing in granite petrogenesis: Insights from biotite inclusions in quartz and feldspar of Mesozoic granites from South China
TL;DR: In this article, a combined study of matrix and inclusion biotites from Mesozoic granites in the Nanling Range, South China was presented, which indicated that mixing of two different magmas was responsible for the petrogenesis of biotite granites.
Journal ArticleDOI
Zircon U-Pb dating of the metamorphic rocks of different grades from the southern part of the Dabie terrain in China
TL;DR: In this article, the ages of regional orthogneisses and enclosed phyllite in South Dabie unit as well as schist and amphibolite in Susong metamorphic belt were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fe and O isotopes in coesite-bearing jadeite quartzite from the Western Alps record multistage fluid-rock interactions in a continental subduction zone
Jia-Wei Xiong,Yi-Xiang Chen,Yi-Xiang Chen,Kun Zhou,Hans-Peter Schertl,Hans-Peter Schertl,Yong-Fei Zheng,Yong-Fei Zheng,Fang Huang,Fang Huang,Xiaoping Xia,Zhen-Wu Chen +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a geochemical study was carried out for coesite-bearing jadeite quartzite and its country rock granitic gneiss from the Dora Maira Massif in the Western Alps, and the results provided new insights into the composition of metamorphic fluids and fluid-rock interaction processes in the continental subduction zone.
Journal ArticleDOI
Geochemical evidence from coesite-bearing jadeite quartzites for large-scale flow of metamorphic fluids in a continental subduction channel
Xiao-Ying Gao,Ling Wang,Yi-Xiang Chen,Yong-Fei Zheng,Ren-Xu Chen,Fang Huang,Qiang-Qiang Zhang,Min Ji,Zi-Yue Meng +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a combined study of whole-rock geochemistry, Mg and O isotopes, zircon U-Pb ages and trace elements in coesite-bearing jadeite quartzites from the Dabie orogen, China is presented.
