Journal ArticleDOI

Anti-inflammatory effects of chemical components from Ginkgo biloba L. male flowers on lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages.

TL;DR: The ethanol extract of Ginkgo flowers and the chloroform and ethyl acetate fractions can significantly decrease nitric oxide, interleukin‐6 (IL‐6), and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) production at 100 μg/ml.
Journal ArticleDOI

Orychophragines A–C, Three Biologically Active Alkaloids from Orychophragmus violaceus

TL;DR: Three new alkaloids with an novel 2,4-dioxohexahydro-1,3,5-triazine skeleton, isolated from the seeds of Orychophragines violaceus, showed remarkable cytotoxicity against HepG2, A549, Hela, and HCT-116 cells and showed moderate 60Co γ radiation protection activity in HUVEC cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory constituents from Flos populi.

TL;DR: During a screening procedure for the anti-inflammatory activities among most compounds on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophage cells, compound 13 exhibited remarkable inhibitory effects on nitric oxide (NO), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin (IL)-6 and IL-1β, suggesting that it might be a promising candidate as an anti- inflammation agent.
