Journal ArticleDOI

Fenton/Fenton-like processes with in-situ production of hydrogen peroxide/hydroxyl radical for degradation of emerging contaminants: Advances and prospects.

TL;DR: This review will deepen the understanding of the tacit cooperation between the in situ production and utilization of H2O2 in Fenton process, and provide the further insight into this promising process for degradation of emerging contaminants in industrial wastewater.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reduction of nitrate by zero valent iron (ZVI)-based materials: A review.

TL;DR: The strategies for enhancing the reduction efficiency and the N2 selectivity of the reductive products of nitrate were systematically analyzed and evaluated, especially the optimization of the structure of ZVI composites and the addition of reducing assistants.
Journal ArticleDOI

Peroxymonosulfate Activation by Fe-Co-O-Codoped Graphite Carbon Nitride for Degradation of Sulfamethoxazole.

TL;DR: The preparation of bimetallic oxides and oxygen co-doped g-C3N4 was successfully prepared, which was an effective PMS activator for degradation of toxic organic pollutants and cycling experiments demonstrated the good stability of Fe-Co-O-g-C 3N4.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic COFs for the adsorptive removal of diclofenac and sulfamethazine from aqueous solution: Adsorption kinetics, isotherms study and DFT calculation.

TL;DR: In this study, magnetic COFs were prepared by a simple impregnation method and showed a good magnetic separation capability, and density functional theory (DFT) was utilized to predict the interaction between adsorbents and adsorbates and to explain the partial adsorption mechanisms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Iron and sulfur co-doped graphite carbon nitride (FeOy/S-g-C3N4) for activating peroxymonosulfate to enhance sulfamethoxazole degradation

TL;DR: In this paper, an iron and sulfur co-doped graphite carbon nitride (FeOy/S-g-C3N4) was easily prepared by pyrolysis using thiourea and ferric chloride hexahydrate as precursors and applied to activate peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for the degradation of sulfamethoxazole (SMX).
