Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of external radiation on biased Aharonov-Bohm rings

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered the effects of bias potential and an Aharonov-Bohm phase on a solid-state interferometer with a quantum dot placed on one of the arms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quantum oscillations in small rings at low temperatures

TL;DR: In this article, the transmission coefficient between two terminals of an effectively one-dimensional (1D) ring with arbitrary scatterers is calculated exactly as a function of enclosed magnetic flux, φ.
Journal ArticleDOI

Studies of the intermittent-type chaos in ac- and dc-driven Josephson junctions

TL;DR: In this article, a simple physical model is proposed and is used for an analytic calculation of the temporal correlation function and the power spectrum in rf-and dc-current-driven Josephson junctions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhancing Thermoelectric Performance Using Nonlinear Transport Effects

TL;DR: In this paper, nonlinear transport effects on the maximum efficiency and power for both inelastic and elastic thermoelectric generators were studied. And the authors found that the nonlinear effects of phonon-assisted hopping in double quantum-dots and elastic tunneling through a single quantum-dot can lead to enhanced energy efficiency.
