Journal ArticleDOI

Antioxidative stress activity of oligophosphopeptides derived from hen egg yolk phosvitin in Caco-2 cells.

TL;DR: It is suggested that oligophosphopeptides from hen egg yolk phosvitin possess novel antioxidative activity against oxidative stress in intestinal epithelial cells and that phosphorus and peptide structure seem to have a key role in the activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antioxidant activity of tryptic digests of hen egg yolk phosvitin.

TL;DR: It is indicated that PPPs could be used in foods as natural antioxidants with strong antioxidant activity.
Reference BookDOI

Nutraceutical Proteins and Peptides in Health and Disease

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the importance of growth factors for the Gastrointestinal tract and other organs in the human body, and propose a method for the synthesis of peptides and proteins.
BookDOI

Bioactive Proteins and Peptides as Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals: Mine/Bioactive Proteins and Peptides as Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals

TL;DR: This paper presents an overview of the literature on Biologically Active Food Proteins and Peptides in Health, and discusses recent advances in Bioactive Peptide Analysis for FoodApplication.
Book

Bioactive Proteins and Peptides as Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the role of proteins and peptides in health, including anti-inflammatory/oxidative stress proteins and Peptides, and Antioxidant peptides and their underlying mechanisms.
