Urinary incontinence in women.
Yoshitaka Aoki,Heidi W. Brown,Linda Brubaker,Jean Nicolas Cornu,J. Oliver Daly,Rufus Cartwright,Rufus Cartwright +6 more
TL;DR: Interventions can include non-surgical options (such as lifestyle modifications, pelvic floor muscle training and drugs) and surgical options to support the urethra or increase bladder capacity, and future directions in research may increasingly target primary prevention through understanding of environmental and genetic risks for incontinence.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dynamic endorectal magnetic resonance imaging for local staging and detection of neurovascular bundle involvement of prostate cancer: Correlation with histopathologic results
Keiji Ogura,Shinya Maekawa,Kazutoshi Okubo,Yoshitaka Aoki,Takashi Okada,Kazushige Oda,Yuji Watanabe,Chotatsu Tsukayama,Yoichi Arai +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a dynamic subtraction contrast-enhanced endorectal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was performed on a 1.5-Tesla system using the dynamic technique with gadolinium-diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid bolus enhancement.
Journal ArticleDOI
Long-term Impact of Mode of Delivery on Stress Urinary Incontinence and Urgency Urinary Incontinence: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Journal ArticleDOI
Impact of interventional therapy for benign prostatic hyperplasia on quality of life and sexual function: a prospective study
Yoichi Arai,Yoshitaka Aoki,Kazutoshi Okubo,Hiroshi Maeda,Naoki Terada,Yosuke Matsuta,Shinya Maekawa,Keiji Ogura +7 more
TL;DR: Significant improvement in quality of life could be achieved with the present assessed interventional therapies and the association of ejaculatory dysfunction with an adverse impact on sexual activity was highly significant.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of tolterodine on an overactive bladder depend on suppression of c-fiber bladder afferent activity in rats
TL;DR: It is suggested that at low doses tolterodine exerts an inhibitory effect on C-fiber bladder afferent nerves, thereby, improving BC during the storage phase.
