Journal ArticleDOI

Flux-mediated doping of SrTiO3 photocatalysts for efficient overall water splitting

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of flux treatments and Al doping on the photocatalytic properties of SrTiO3 were investigated, and the results suggested that Al doping was a principal factor in the dramatic improvement in the water splitting activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient Photocatalytic Water Splitting Using Al-Doped SrTiO3 Coloaded with Molybdenum Oxide and Rhodium–Chromium Oxide

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate that the AQY during overall water splitting by rhCrOx/STO:Al is improved by 20% (to 69% at 365 nm) by coloading of molybdenum oxide (MoOy, 0.03 wt % as Mo) followed by calcination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cinchona Alkaloid-Catalyzed Enantioselective Monofluoromethylation Reaction Based on Fluorobis(phenylsulfonyl)methane Chemistry Combined with a Mannich-type Reaction

TL;DR: A catalytic protocol for the unprecedented enantioselective monofluoromethylation of in situ generated prochiral imines using 1-fluorobis(phenylsulfonyl)methane (FBSM, 1) in the presence of a chiral PTC based on the Mannich-type reaction followed by reductive desulfonylation.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Al-doped SrTiO3 photocatalyst maintaining sunlight-driven overall water splitting activity for over 1000 h of constant illumination

TL;DR: In this article, the authors showed that the lifespan of photocatalysts functioning under sunlight at ambient pressure has rarely been examined, despite the critical importance of this factor in practical applications.
