Journal ArticleDOI
Thermal Expansion Coefficients of Bi$_2$Se$_3$ and Sb$_2$Te$_3$ Crystals from 10 K to 270 K
Xunchi Chen,Hongye Zhou,Andhika Kiswandhi,Ireneusz Miotkowski,Youqiang Chen,P. A. Sharma,A. L. Lima Sharma,Michelle A. Hekmaty,Dmitry Smirnov,Zhigang Jiang +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the lattice constant of Bi$_2$Se$_3$ and Sb$_ 2$Te$_ 3$ crystals was determined by X-ray powder diffraction measurement in a wide temperature range.
Journal ArticleDOI
Temperature dependence of Raman-active optical phonons in Bi_2Se_3 and Sb_2Te_3
Yun Seon Kim,Xunchi Chen,Wang Zunhua,Jinghua Shi,Ireneusz Miotkowski,Youqiang Chen,P. A. Sharma,A. L. Lima Sharma,Michelle A. Hekmaty,Zhigang Jiang,Dmitry Smirnov +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the temperature dependence of peak position and linewidth is analyzed considering the anharmonic decay of optical phonons and the material thermal expansion, which suggests that Raman spectroscopy can be used for thermometry in Bi2Se_3 and Sb_2Te_3-based devices in a wide temperature range.
Journal ArticleDOI
Haplotype analysis of sucrose synthase gene family in three Saccharum species
TL;DR: The five members of the SuSy gene family evolved before the divergence of the genera in the tribe Andropogoneae at least 12 MYA and provide fundamental information for designing strategies to sequence these autopolyploid genomes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular cloning, structure, phylogeny and expression analysis of the invertase gene family in sugarcane
TL;DR: It is shown that the activities of all INVs were significantly inhibited in response to five different abiotic stresses, and that the neutral/alkaline INVs played a more prominent role in abiotic stress than the acid INVs.
Journal ArticleDOI
The evolutionary origin and domestication history of goldfish (Carassius auratus).
Duo Chen,Qing Zhang,Weiqi Tang,Zhen Huang,Gang Wang,Yongjun Wang,Jiaxian Shi,Jiaxian Shi,Huimin Xu,Lianyu Lin,Zhen Li,Wenchao Chi,Likun Huang,Jing Xia,Xingtan Zhang,Lin Guo,Yuanyuan Wang,Panpan Ma,Juan Tang,Gang Zhou,Min Liu,Fuyan Liu,Xiuting Hua,Baiyu Wang,Qiaochu Shen,Qing Jiang,Jingxian Lin,Xuequn Chen,Hongbo Wang,Meijie Dou,Lei Liu,Haoran Pan,Yiying Qi,Bin Wu,Jingping Fang,Yitao Zhou,Cen Wan,Wenjin He,Qiujin Zhang,Ting Xue,Gang Lin,Wenchun Zhang,Zhong-Jian Liu,Liming Qu,Aiming Wang,Qichang Ye,Jianming Chen,Yanding Zhang,Ray Ming,Marc Van Montagu,Marc Van Montagu,Haibao Tang,Yves Van de Peer,Youqiang Chen,Jisen Zhang +54 more
TL;DR: One of the most contiguous genomes for the common goldfish is assembled and a tyrosine-protein kinase receptor is identified as a candidate causal gene for the first well-known case of Mendelian inheritance in goldfish—the transparent mutant.
