Journal ArticleDOI
Potential Difference Driving Electron Transfer via Defective Carbon Nanotubes toward Selective Oxidation of Organic Micropollutants.
Penghui Shao,Yu Shuiping,Xiaoguang Duan,Liming Yang,Shi Hui,Lin Ding,Jiayu Tian,Lixia Yang,Xubiao Luo,Shaobin Wang +9 more
TL;DR: It is reported that defect-rich carbon nanotubes (CNTs) exhibit a superior activity in activation of peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for O MPs oxidation, and the established CNTs@PMS oxidative system achieves outstanding selectivity and realizes the target-oriented elimination of specific OMPs in complicated aquatic environment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Defect-rich porous carbon with anti-interference capability for adsorption of bisphenol A via long-range hydrophobic interaction synergized with short-range dispersion force.
Penghui Shao,Junjun Pei,Huan Tang,Yu Shuiping,Liming Yang,Shi Hui,Yu Kai,Kai Zhang,Xubiao Luo +8 more
TL;DR: New light is shed on mechanistic insight into the BPA adsorption on carbon-based materials and a fit-for-purpose designed adsorbent toward green remediation of practical wastewater is developed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Functionalization of UiO-66-NH2 with rhodanine via amidation: Towarding a robust adsorbent with dual coordination sites for selective capture of Ag(I) from wastewater
Lin Ding,Lin Ding,Penghui Shao,Yu Luo,Xiaocui Yin,Xiaocui Yin,Yu Shuiping,Lili Fang,Lili Fang,Liming Yang,Jiakuan Yang,Xubiao Luo,Xubiao Luo +12 more
TL;DR: Li et al. as discussed by the authors designed and synthesized rhodanine (Rd)-functionalized UiO-66 adsorbents with dual coordination sites, resulting in higher capacity and outstanding selectivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effective and selective removal of phosphate from water by the Co(II)-based adsorbent
Keke Han,Deng You,Penghui Shao,Liming Yang,Shi Hui,Wanjun Yu,Yu Shuiping,Lili Fang,Xu Zhuang,Xubiao Luo +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a Co(II)-based adsorbent Co-H2L was developed for the removal of phosphate, and the Co valence electron orbitals played the key role in the phosphate adsorption.

Method for directional production of singlet oxygen by activating persulfate via carbonylation carbon material
TL;DR: In this paper, a method for directional production of singlet oxygen by activating persulfate via a carbonylation carbon material was proposed, which can be applied to the field of water treatment.
