TL;DR: Among inpatients with type 2 diabetes receiving noncritical care, the use of an automated, closed‐loop insulin‐delivery system resulted in significantly better glycemic control than conventional subcutaneous insulin therapy, without a higher risk of hypoglycemia.

Modeling Day-to-Day Variability of Glucose–Insulin Regulation Over 12-Week Home Use of Closed-Loop Insulin Delivery
TL;DR: A linear Bayesian hierarchical approach is feasible to describe a 12-week glucose–insulin relationship using conventional clinical data and may facilitate in silico testing to aid the development of closed-loop insulin delivery systems.
