Journal ArticleDOI
High glucose induces Drp1-mediated mitochondrial fission via the Orai1 calcium channel to participate in diabetic cardiomyocyte hypertrophy
Qing-Rui Wu,Dan-Lin Zheng,Dan-Lin Zheng,Dan-Lin Zheng,Pei-Ming Liu,Pei-Ming Liu,Pei-Ming Liu,Hui Yang,Hui Yang,Lu-An Li,Lu-An Li,Lu-An Li,Su-Juan Kuang,Su-Juan Kuang,Ying-Yu Lai,Ying-Yu Lai,Ying-Yu Lai,Fang Rao,Fang Rao,Yumei Xue,Yumei Xue,Ji-Jin Lin,Ji-Jin Lin,Shuangxin Liu,Chun-Bo Chen,Chun‐yu Deng +25 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored the mechanism of dynamic relative protein 1 and Orai1 in cardiomyocyte hypertrophy caused by high glucose (HG) and found that Zucker diabetic fat rats induced by administration of a high-fat diet develop cardiac hyper-trophy and impaired cardiac function, accompanied by the activation of mitochondrial dynamics and calcium handling pathway related proteins.
Journal ArticleDOI
CDK6 mediates the effect of attenuation of miR-1 on provoking cardiomyocyte hypertrophy.
Weiwei Yuan,Chun-Mei Tang,Wensi Zhu,Jie-Ning Zhu,Qiu-Xiong Lin,Yong-Heng Fu,Chun-Yu Deng,Yumei Xue,Min Yang,Shulin Wu,Zhi-Xin Shan +10 more
TL;DR: Results reveal that derepression of CDK6 and activation of Rb pathway contributes to the effect of attenuation of miR-1 on provoking cardiomyocyte hypertrophy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Targeting myocyte-specific enhancer factor 2D contributes to the suppression of cardiac hypertrophic growth by miR-92b-3p in mice.
Zhi-Qin Hu,Zhi-Qin Hu,Jian-Fang Luo,Jian-Fang Luo,Xue-Ju Yu,Xue-Ju Yu,Jie-Ning Zhu,Jie-Ning Zhu,Lei Huang,Jing Yang,Jing Yang,Yong-Heng Fu,Yong-Heng Fu,Tao Li,Yumei Xue,Yumei Xue,Ying-Qing Feng,Ying-Qing Feng,Zhi-Xin Shan,Zhi-Xin Shan +19 more
TL;DR: Myocyte-specific enhancer factor 2D (MEF2D), which was increased in Ang-II-induced mouse hypertrophic myocardium and cardiomyocytes, was identified as a target gene of miR-92b-3p and mimic, consistent with MEF2d siRNA, inhibited cell size increase and protein expression of ANP, ACTA1 and β-MHC in Ang
Journal ArticleDOI
Involvement of Smad3 pathway in atrial fibrosis induced by elevated hydrostatic pressure.
Wei Wei,Wei Wei,Fang Rao,Fang Rao,Fang Rao,Fangzhou Liu,Fangzhou Liu,Yumei Xue,Yumei Xue,Chun-Yu Deng,Chun-Yu Deng,Zhao-Yu Wang,Zhao-Yu Wang,Jie-Ning Zhu,Jie-Ning Zhu,Hui Yang,Hui Yang,Xin Li,Xin Li,Meng-Zhen Zhang,Meng-Zhen Zhang,Yong-Heng Fu,Yong-Heng Fu,Wensi Zhu,Wensi Zhu,Zhi-Xin Shan,Zhi-Xin Shan,Shulin Wu,Shulin Wu +28 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that CF secretory function and proliferation can be up‐regulated by exposure to elevated pressure, and that Smad3 may modulate CF activation induced by high hydrostatic pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanism of electrical remodeling of atrial myocytes and its influence on susceptibility to atrial fibrillation in diabetic rats.
Lu Fu,Fang Rao,Feihong Lian,Hui Yang,Su-Juan Kuang,Shulin Wu,Chun-Yu Deng,Chun-Yu Deng,Yumei Xue,Yumei Xue +9 more
TL;DR: The atrial electrical remodeling induced by hyperglycemia contributed to the increased AF susceptibility in diabetic rats.
