Book ChapterDOI
Flow Cytometric Detection of Circulating Tumor Cells Using a Candidate Stem Cell Marker, p75 Neurotrophin Receptor (p75NTR).
TL;DR: A method to detect CTCs in ESCC based on the combined expression of EpCAM and p75NTR using flow cytometry is described, demonstrating the feasibility of expression analysis of multiple cell surface markers in viable cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Four Cases Report of Intractable Pressure Ulcers Effectively Treated with Kigi-kenchu-to-ka-bushi
TL;DR: It’s time to dust off the dustbin lids and cleanse the air!
Effect of Keishi-bukuryo-gan on asymptomatic cerebral infarction for short term
Hirozo Goto,Yutaka Shimada,Tadamichi Mitsuma,Takahiro Shintani,Kazuhiko Nagasaka,Soichiro Goto,Naotoshi Shibahara,Katsutoshi Terasawa +7 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Gene expression of cell surface antigens in the early phase of murine influenza pneumonia determined by a cDNA expression array technique.
Shinya Sakai,Naoki Mantani,Toshiaki Kogure,Hiroshi Ochiai,Yutaka Shimada,Katsutoshi Terasawa +5 more
TL;DR: Data suggest that these molecules play an important role in influenza virus infection, especially the phase before specific immunity, where they were found to be up-regulated and one was down-regulated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Validity of intraoperative pathological diagnosis of paratracheal lymph node as a strategy for selection of patients for cervical lymph node dissection during esophagectomy.
Yutaka Shimada,Fumiaki Sato,Masato Maeda,Go Watanabe,Shiro Nagatani,Junichi Kaganoi,Yosuke Hashimoto,Takatsugu Kan,Zhigang Li,Masayuki Imamura +9 more
TL;DR: The esophagectomy with and without cervical LN dissection for thoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma based on the results of intraoperative pathological diagnosis from selective checking of paratracheal LN was not fully acceptable and may improve by increasing the number of checked LN and the detection of micro metastasis.
