An interpretable deep learning workflow for discovering subvisual abnormalities in CT scans of COVID-19 inpatients and survivors

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper proposed a Deep-LungParenchyma-Enhancing (DLPE), a computer-aided detection (CAD) method for detecting and quantifying pulmonary parenchma lesions on chest CT.
Journal ArticleDOI

miR-596-3p suppresses brain metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer by modulating YAP1 and IL-8

TL;DR: In this article , the authors explored the RNA-Seq data of brain metastasis cells from the GEO database, and extracted RNA collected from primary NSCLC tumors as well as paired brain metastatic lesions followed by microRNA PCR array.
Journal ArticleDOI

Exploring New Characteristics: Using Deep Learning and 3D Reconstruction to Compare the Original COVID-19 and Its Delta Variant Based on Chest CT

TL;DR: The Delta Variant has a longer lung change duration, more re-detectable positive RT-PCR test results, different locations of pneumonia, and more lesions in the early stage, and the peak of infection occurred later.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prediction of subjective cognitive decline after corpus callosum infarction by an interpretable machine learning-derived early warning strategy

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors developed and validated models for early predicting the risk of subjective cognitive decline (SCD) after CC infarction by machine learning (ML) algorithms and found that the combination of LR-model and SHAP-explainer could aid in achieving personalized risk prediction and be served as a decision-making tool for early intervention since its poor long-term outcome.
