Effect of contact interface between TiO2 and g-C3N4 on the photoreactivity of g-C3N4/TiO2 photocatalyst: (001) vs (101) facets of TiO2
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of contact interfaces of high-energy TiO 2, (1 − 0 − 1) and (0 − 0 - 1) facets, with g-C 3 N 4 on the photocatalytic activity was studied using TiO2 hollow nanobox (TiO 2 -HNB) assembly.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modulating electron density of vacancy site by single Au atom for effective CO2 photoreduction
Yuehan Cao,Lan Guo,Meng Dan,Meng Dan,Dmitry E. Doronkin,Chunqiu Han,Zhiqiang Rao,Yang Liu,Yang Liu,Jie Meng,Jie Meng,Zeai Huang,Kaibo Zheng,Kaibo Zheng,Peng Chen,Peng Chen,Fan Dong,Ying Zhou +17 more
TL;DR: In this article, the surface electron density is manipulated by controlling the size of Au nanostructures, and the strong hybridization of Au 5d and S 2p orbits accelerates photo-electrons transfer onto the surface, resulting in more electrons available for CO2 reduction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interfacial Oxygen Vacancy Engineered Two-Dimensional g-C3N4/BiOCl Heterostructures with Boosted Photocatalytic Conversion of CO2
TL;DR: The CO2 conversion by photocatalysis has been a focus of global concern as yet and the exploring of efficient heterostructures is critical to promote the photocatalytic performance as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tuning the selectivity toward CO evolution in the photocatalytic conversion of CO2 with H2O through the modification of Ag-loaded Ga2O3 with a ZnGa2O4 layer
Zheng Wang,Kentaro Teramura,Kentaro Teramura,Zeai Huang,Saburo Hosokawa,Yoshihisa Sakata,Tsunehiro Tanaka +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a highly selective photocatalyst for the conversion of CO2 with H2O as an electron donor using Ag-loaded Zn-modified Ga2O3 was designed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transformation of TiOF2 cube to a hollow nanobox assembly from anatase TiO2 nanosheets with exposed {001} facets via solvothermal strategy.
TL;DR: The hierarchicalTiO2-HNBs show higher photocatalytic activity than discrete high-energy TiO2 nanosheets and P25 TiO 2 due to the unique structures of TiO1-H NBs.
