Journal ArticleDOI
The comprehensive utilization of the synergistic effect of fullerene and non-fullerene acceptors to achieve highly efficient polymer solar cells
Zezhou Liang,Junfeng Tong,Hongdong Li,Yufei Wang,Ningning Wang,Jianfeng Li,Chunming Yang,Yangjun Xia +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a ternary PSC based on PTBTz-2:IT-M:PC71BM with different weight ratios was systematically investigated, and the energy transfer mechanism between PC71BM and IT-M was investigated in depth by femtosecond pump-probe transient absorption spectroscopy and time correlated single-photon counting.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced efficiency of polymer solar cells through synergistic optimization of mobility and tuning donor alloys by adding high-mobility conjugated polymers
Jianfeng Li,Zezhou Liang,Zezhou Liang,Yufei Wang,Hongdong Li,Junfeng Tong,Xichang Bao,Yangjun Xia +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a diketopyrrolopyrrole-based small bandgap polymer (DPPT-TT) with high mobility is introduced as an additive to D-A1-D-A2 type thieno[3,4-b]thiophene-based random copolymer (P3):(6,6)-phenyl-C70-butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM) polymer solar cells (PSCs) were improved from 615% to 830% with the addition of 05% DPPT
Journal ArticleDOI
Self-doping n-type polymer as a cathode interface layer enables efficient organic solar cells by increasing built-in electric field and boosting interface contact
Yufei Wang,Zezhou Liang,Xiaoming Li,Jicheng Qin,Meiling Ren,Chunyan Yang,Xichang Bao,Yangjun Xia,Jianfeng Li +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a self-doping polymer cathode interface material for organic solar cells was synthesized by incorporating benzotriazole (BTA) as an electron-deficient group and a fluorene containing an amino group.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced Organic Photovoltaic Performance through Modulating Vertical Composition Distribution and Promoting Crystallinity of the Photoactive Layer by Diphenyl Sulfide Additives.
Jianfeng Li,Yufei Wang,Zezhou Liang,Zezhou Liang,Ningning Wang,Junfeng Tong,Chunming Yang,Xichang Bao,Xichang Bao,Yangjun Xia +9 more
TL;DR: DPS could not only modulate the vertical composition distribution but also promote the ordered molecular packing of the photoactive layer, thus effectively improving exciton dissociation, charge transport, and collection, and thus exhibit an excellent power conversion efficiency after using 3% DPS additive.
Journal ArticleDOI
Insights into Excitonic Dynamics of Terpolymer-Based High-Efficiency Nonfullerene Polymer Solar Cells: Enhancing the Yield of Charge Separation States
Jianfeng Li,Zezhou Liang,Zezhou Liang,Xiaoming Li,Xiaoming Li,Hongdong Li,Yufei Wang,Jicheng Qin,Junfeng Tong,Lihe Yan,Xichang Bao,Yangjun Xia +11 more
TL;DR: The DFT and TD-DFT calculation results show the terpolymer T1 with a lower exciton bonding energy and a longer lifetime of spontaneous luminescence can be synergistically increase the amount of excitons reaching donor/acceptor interface.
