Benzofuran-fused Phosphole: Synthesis, Electronic, and Electroluminescence Properties

TL;DR: Preliminary results show that 4 can be used as an emitter in OLEDs, illustrating the potential of these new compounds for opto-electronic applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Palladium-catalyzed three-component arylcyanation of internal alkynes with aryl bromides and K4[Fe(CN)6].

TL;DR: The one-pot, palladium-catalyzed, three-component coupling of aryl bromides, internal alkynes, and environmentally friendly K4[Fe(CN)6] provides an efficient and direct method for the preparation of beta-arylalkenylnitriles.
Journal ArticleDOI

A simple access to triarylmethane derivatives from aromatic aldehydes and electron-rich arenes catalyzed by FeCl3

TL;DR: In this paper, arenes condense smoothly with aromatic aldehydes in the presence of catalytic amount of FeCl 3, tolerated a variety of substitutions and functional groups, and provided a facile and direct access to symmetrical and unsymmetrical triarylmethane derivatives.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cerium(IV) ammonium nitrate (CAN) catalyzed aza-Michael addition of amines to α,β-unsaturated electrophiles

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that CAN catalyzed facile and efficient aza-Michael addition of aromatic and aliphatic amines with α,β-unsaturated electrophiles in the absence of solvent under ultrasound irradiation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Versatile Synthesis of Phospholides from Open-Chain Precursors. Application to Annelated Pyrrole– and Silole–Phosphole Rings

TL;DR: Phospholides are easily obtained by treatment of the open-chain acetylenic phosphines shown by an excess of lithium at room temperature in THF (12 examples).
