Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of amidinothioureido-silica gel and its application to flame atomic absorption spectrometric determination of silver, gold and palladium with on-line preconcentration and separation

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple and highly selective flow injection (FI) on-line preconcentration and separation flame atomic absorption spectrometric (FAAS) method was developed for the determinations of trace amounts of silver, gold and palladium.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of silica gel immobilized thiourea and its application to the on-line preconcentration and separation of silver, gold and palladium

Peng Liu, +2 more
- 01 Jan 2000 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a new silica gel based chelating sorbent with thiourea as a functional group was used for the flow injection (FI) on-line preconcentration and separation of trace levels of silver, gold and palladium.
Journal ArticleDOI

2-Mercaptobenzothiazole-bonded silica gel as selective adsorbent for preconcentration of gold, platinum and palladium prior to their simultaneous inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometric determination

TL;DR: A 2-mercaptobenzothiazole-bonded silica gel chelating adsorbent (MBTSG) was synthesized by the Mannich reaction as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Application of isodiphenylthiourea immobilized silica gel to flow injection on-line microcolumn preconcentration and separation coupled with flame atomic absorption spectrometry for interference-free determination of trace silver, gold, palladium and platinum in geological and metallurgical samples

TL;DR: In this article, a simple and highly selective flow injection on-line preconcentration and separation-flame atomic absorption spectrometric method was developed for the routine analysis of trace amounts of silver, gold, palladium and platinum in geological and metallurgical samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Application of a macroporous resin containing imidazoline groups to preconcentration and separation of gold, platinum and palladium prior to ICP-AES determination.

TL;DR: The resin synthesized by modification of aminated macroporous poly(vinyl chloride) resin with cyanoethylene and ethylenediamine has good reusability, and can be used for preconcentration and separation of Au(III), Pt(IV) and Pd(II) prior to their determination by ICP-AES with satisfactory results.
