Journal ArticleDOI
Nodeless superconductivity in the kagome metal CsV3Sb5
Weiyin Duan,Zhiyong Nie,Shuaishuai Luo,Fanghang Yu,Brenden R. Ortiz,Lichang Yin,Hang Su,Feng Du,An Wang,Ye Chen,Xin Lu,Jianjun Ying,Stephen D. Wilson,Xianhui Chen,Xianhui Chen,Yu Song,Huiqiu Yuan +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, the magnetic penetration depth of the kagome metal series AV3Sb5 (A=K, Rb, Cs) was measured down to 0.07 K.
Journal ArticleDOI
Strange metal behavior in a pure ferromagnetic Kondo lattice
Bin Shen,Yongjun Zhang,Yashar Komijani,Michael Nicklas,R. Borth,An Wang,Ye Chen,Zhiyong Nie,Rui Li,Xin Lu,Hanoh Lee,Michael Smidman,Frank Steglich,Piers Coleman,Huiqiu Yuan +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that strong magnetic anisotropy plays a key role in this process, injecting entanglement in the form of triplet resonating valence bonds (tRVBs) into the ordered ferromagnet.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nodeless superconductivity in the kagome metal CsV$_3$Sb$_5$
Weiyin Duan,Zhiyong Nie,Shuaishuai Luo,Fanghang Yu,Brenden R. Ortiz,Lichang Yin,Hang Su,Feng Du,An Wang,Ye Chen,Xin Lu,Jianjun Ying,Stephen D. Wilson,Xianhui Chen,Yu Song,Huiqiu Yuan +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic penetration depth of kagome metal series was measured down to 0.07 K using a technique based on the tunneling diode oscillator, showing nodeless superconductivity in CsV$_3$Sb$_5$ under ambient pressure and constrain the allowed pairing symmetry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Strange metal behaviour in a pure ferromagnetic Kondo lattice
Bin Shen,Yongjun Zhang,Yashar Komijani,Michael Nicklas,R. Borth,An Wang,Ye Chen,Zhiyong Nie,Rui Li,Xin Lu,Hanoh Lee,Hanoh Lee,Michael Smidman,Frank Steglich,Frank Steglich,Piers Coleman,Piers Coleman,Huiqiu Yuan,Huiqiu Yuan +18 more
TL;DR: It is shown that a singular transformation in the patterns of the entanglement between local moments and conduction electrons, from triplet resonating valence bonds to Kondo-entangled singlet pairs at the QCP, causes a jump in the Fermi surface volume—a key driver of strange-metallic behaviour.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fully gapped superconductivity in single crystals of noncentrosymmetric Re 6 Zr with broken time-reversal symmetry
G. M. Pang,Zhiyong Nie,An Wang,Deepak Singh,W. Xie,W. B. Jiang,Yuntian Chen,Ravi Pratap Singh,Michael Smidman,Huiqiu Yuan +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the gap structure of the superconducting gap of the noncentrosymmetric superconductor was investigated for single crystals by measuring the magnetic penetration depth shift and electronic specific heat.
