Journal ArticleDOI

Double perovskite LiLaMgWO6:Eu3+ novel red-emitting phosphors for solid sate lighting: Synthesis, structure and photoluminescent properties

TL;DR: LiLaMgWO 6 :Eu 3+ phosphors have been synthesized by high-temperature solid-state reaction and their structure, ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectra, photoluminescence and decay properties have been investigated as a function of the Eu 3 + concentration.
Journal ArticleDOI

Color tunable emission and low-temperature luminescent sensing of europium and terbium carboxylic acid complexes

TL;DR: A series of lanthanide organic complexes, namely, EuxTb1−x (BTC) as mentioned in this paper, have been synthesized, and the overall quantum yields (Φoverall) of luminescence for complex 1 is detected to be as high as 95%, while that for complex 6 is only 8%.
Journal ArticleDOI

Near-infrared downconversion luminescence of SrMoO4:Tm3+,Yb3+ phosphors

TL;DR: In this paper, the electronic structure and band gap of the SrMoO 4 were estimated by density functional theory (DFT) calculation, and the dependence of the visible and NIR emissions on Yb 3+ concentration have also been investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Down-shifting emission of Yb3+ ions sensitized by broad charge transfer band of V-O and Yb-O in Ca2V2O7 phosphors

TL;DR: Yb3+ singly doped pyrovanadate Ca2V2O7 phosphors were prepared by conventional solid state reaction and the crystal structure of the powders was investigated by X-ray diffraction as mentioned in this paper.
