Quantitative chemical exchange saturation transfer (qCEST) MRI - RF spillover effect-corrected omega plot for simultaneous determination of labile proton fraction ratio and exchange rate
TL;DR: The conventional omega plot is extended for quantitative analysis of DIACEST MRI if RF spillover effect could be estimated and taken into account and both labile proton ratio and exchange rate derived using the spill over effect-corrected omega plot were in good agreement with simulated values.
Journal ArticleDOI
Early metabolic changes following ischemia onset in rats: An in vivo diffusion-weighted imaging and 1H-magnetic resonance spectroscopy study at 7.0 T
TL;DR: Assessment and quantify the onset time for hyperacute middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) ischemic stroke by measuring the apparent diffusion coefficient of diffusion-weighted imaging and 1H-magnetic resonance spectroscopy at 7.0 T.
Journal ArticleDOI
Noninvasive Detection of Extracellular pH in Human Benign and Malignant Liver Tumors Using CEST MRI
Yanyan Tang,Yanyan Tang,Gang Xiao,Zhiwei Shen,Caiyu Zhuang,Yudan Xie,Xiaolei Zhang,Zhongxian Yang,Jitian Guan,Yuanyu Shen,Yanzi Chen,Lihua Lai,Yuanfeng Chen,Shuo Chen,Zhuozhi Dai,Runrun Wang,Renhua Wu +16 more
TL;DR: Dual-power CEST MRI can detect extracellular pH in human liver tumors and can provide molecular-level diagnostic tools for differentiating benign and malignant liver tumors at 3T.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Potential Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technique Based on Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer for In Vivo γ-Aminobutyric Acid Imaging.
Gen Yan,Tao Zhang,Zhuozhi Dai,Meizhi Yi,Yanlong Jia,Tingting Nie,Handi Zhang,Gang Xiao,Renhua Wu +8 more
TL;DR: The findings of this study demonstrate the feasibility and potential of CEST MRI with the optimal B1 amplitude, which exhibits excellent spatial and temporal resolutions, to map changes in GABA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Brain Metabolite Changes in Subcortical Regions After Exposure to Cuprizone for 6 Weeks: Potential Implications for Schizophrenia
TL;DR: Examination of brain metabolites of the cuprizone-exposed mice by proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy provided neurochemical evidence for the impairment in neuronal functions by Cuprizone treatment.
