Multifunctional Theranostic Nanoparticles Based on Exceedingly Small Magnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles for T1-Weighted Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Chemotherapy

TL;DR: The MR Imaging and chemotherapy results on the cancer cells and tumor-bearing mice reinforce that the DOX@ES-MION3@RGD2@mPEG3 nanoparticles are promising for high-resolution T1-weighted MR imaging and precise chemotherapy of tumors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dotted Core-Shell Nanoparticles for T 1 -Weighted MRI of Tumors.

TL;DR: Novel dotted core–shell nanoparticles (FeGd‐HN3‐RGD2) with superhigh r 1 value and very low r 2/r 1 ratio are developed for high‐contrast T 1‐weighted MRI of tumors to reduce the risk of nephrotoxicity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bioconjugation of Gold Nanobipyramids for SERS Detection and Targeted Photothermal Therapy in Breast Cancer

TL;DR: Au NBPs for surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) detection and photothermal therapy (PTT) of MCF-7 cancer cells both in vitro and in vivo via bioconjugation with Raman reporter 2-naphthalenethiol (2-NAP) and folic acid (FA).
Journal ArticleDOI

"Red-to-blue" colorimetric detection of cysteine via anti-etching of silver nanoprisms.

TL;DR: A new strategy for Cys colorimetric detection, i.e. anti-etching of silver nanoprisms (AgNPRs) is proposed, which has excellent selectivity and high sensitivity and the limit of detection (LOD) of the Cys detection system is much better than the reported lowest LOD by eye-vision, and 10 nM by UV-vis spectroscopy.
