Journal ArticleDOI
Mixed-conducting perovskite-type SrxBi1-xFeO3-δ oxygen-permeating membranes
TL;DR: In this paper, the oxygen permeation flux is determined mainly by the oxygen diffusion rate in bulk when 1-x⩽0.5 and by the concentration of oxygen vacancy when 1 −x ⩾ 0.5.
Journal ArticleDOI
Well-crystallized mesoporous samaria-doped ceria from EDTA-citrate complexing process with in situ created NiO as recyclable template
TL;DR: In this paper, a facile EDTA-citrate complexing process with in situ created recyclable NiO as inorganic template was developed for the synthesis of mesoporous samaria-doped ceria (SDC) at high temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combined Corner‐Sharing and Edge‐Sharing Networks in Hybrid Nanocomposite with Unusual Lattice‐Oxygen Activation for Efficient Water Oxidation
Hai-Jiang Zhang,Yongxin Gao,Hengyue Xu,Daqin Guan,Zhiwei Hu,Chao Jing,Yu Fang Sha,Yuxi Gu,Yucheng Huang,Yu-Chung Chang,C. W. Pao,Xiaomin Xu,Jyh-Fu Lee,Yi Ying Chin,Hong-Ji Lin,Chien-Te Chen,Yuhui Chen,Youmin Guo,Meng Ni,Wei Zhou,Zongping Shao +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a unique self-assembled hybrid SrCo0.5O3δ nanorod composed of a corner sharing SrCo 0.55Fe 0.5Fe0.4 phase and edge sharing Co3O4 structure is synthesized through a Cosite enrichment method, which exhibits the low overpotentials of 310 and 290 mV at 10 mA cm-2 for oxygen-evolving reaction in 0.1 m and 1.0 m KOH, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fuel cells: Hydrogen induced insulation
Wei Zhou,Zongping Shao +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the electronic conductivity of a perovskite electrolyte, which has high proton conductivity, is shown to be heavily suppressed when exposed to hydrogen, leading to high fuel cell performance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Organic Photochemistry-Assisted Nanoparticle Segregation on Perovskites
Zhou Chen,Bin Hua,Xin Zhang,Lifang Chen,Ya-Qian Zhang,Guangming Yang,Gang Wan,Hua Zhou,Yan-Ling Yang,Jian Chen,Hong-Qiang Fan,Qian Li,Meng Li,Jianhui Li,Wei Zhou,Zongping Shao,Zongping Shao,Jing-Li Luo,Yifei Sun +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, photo-illumination was used to drive electron donation and facilitate the electron harvesting on perovskite directly, which results in segregation of NPs at room temperature with the assistance of trialkyl amine as a hole acceptor.
