TL;DR: The mechanism performs the diagnosing of the disease, especially for the strawberry fruits and leaves, with data set of images using deep learning, and encourages increasing of the productivity through the fast recognition of disease and the consequent action.
Abstract: To increase the crop productivity environmental factors or product resource, such as temperature, humidity, labor and electrical costs are important. However, above all, crop disease is the crucial factor and causes 20–30% reduction of the productivity in case of its infection. Thus, the disease of the crop is much more important factor affecting the productivity of the crops. Therefore, the farmer concentrates on the cause of the disease in the crops during its growth, but it is not easy to recognize the disease on the spot. Until now, they just relied on the opinion of the experts or their own experiences when the disease is doubtful. However, it triggers a decrease in productivity as no taking appropriate action and time. In this paper, to address this problem we provide the mechanism, which dynamically analyses the images of the disease. The analysis result is immediately sent to the farmer required the decision and then feedback from the farmer is reflected to the model. The mechanism performs the diagnosing of the disease, especially for the strawberry fruits and leaves, with data set of images using deep learning. Thus, it encourages increasing of the productivity through the fast recognition of disease and the consequent action.

TL;DR: This project tries to automatically detect the rumours spreading on Twitter and identify its source, and proposes an algorithm to find the origin of the rumoured tweets i.e. obtain the account information of the user who first started spreading rumours on Twitter.
Abstract: The number of people using social networking sites such as Twitter is exponentially increasing every day. These sites not only act as a platform for staying connected with friends and exchanging opinions and ideologies, but also help to share and disseminate information. Important events in the real world cause a huge flood of tweets on Twitter. During many such events, Twitter has been used to spread rumours and cause havoc and panic among the people, thus worsening the situation. In this project, we try to automatically detect the rumours spreading on Twitter and identify its source. Using some of the rumoured tweets posted during the London Riots in 2011 and some non-rumoured tweets, we trained a classifier. Our classifier correctly classifies the tweets with high accuracy. We show that, in rumour detection, the information propagated by the user becomes more important than the identity of the user by showing that tweet-based features play a much higher and significant role than user-based features. We propose an algorithm to find the origin of the rumoured tweets i.e. obtain the account information of the user who first started spreading rumours on Twitter.

TL;DR: A novel methodology, which monitors in real time the traffic scenario behind the driver of a motorcycle and also an intimation system to inform him about the same and an accurate algorithm used in conjunction are presented.
Abstract: The past few years have shown an exponential rise in the total number of people commuting with their own personal vehicles. An increase in vehicles has also statistically led to an increase in the number of road accidents as well. Though a lot has been worked upon with respect to the safety of cars, very little has been done to protect the drivers of two wheelers. In this paper we present a novel methodology, which monitors in real time the traffic scenario behind the driver of a motorcycle and also an intimation system to inform him about the same. A cost effective setup and an accurate algorithm used in conjunction have also been elaborated. Special cases such as giving priority during turning have also been highlighted. All algorithms were designed and developed using MATLAB 2011b and a Spartan 3E FPGA was utilized to assist in simulating a real time environment.

TL;DR: IEC 61850 is the standard for electrical substation automation that uses TCP/IP for data transfer among different `intelligent electronic devices' (IEDs) and the possibility of IEEE 802.22 for teleprotection and transmitting synchrophasors over Wide Area Network (WAN) using GSSE and MMS is explored.
Abstract: Real time data communication in Smart Grid is a big challenge due to its vastness and complexities. Wireless Regional Area Network (WRAN) - IEEE 802.22 permits opportunistic use of television white space (TVWS) by secondary user, if it is not being utilized by primary user. This standard has the potential to transfer big data of smart grid in real time to control center. The IEC 61850 is the standard for electrical substation automation that uses TCP/IP for data transfer among different ‘intelligent electronic devices’ (IEDs). IEC 61850 consists of different message types which belong to different performance classes that are mapped to different communication protocols. The different performance classes are GOOSE, SV, GSSE (Generic substation status event) and MMS (Manufacturing Message Specification). GOOSE and SV are directly mapped on Ethernet for fast data transfer. The performance classes of Generic Substation State Event (GSSE) and Manufacturing Message Specification (MMS) can be used for teleprotection and transmitting synchrophasors over Wide Area Network (WAN). This paper reviews IEC 61850 and explores the possibility of IEEE 802.22 for teleprotection and transmitting synchrophasors over Wide Area Network (WAN) using GSSE and MMS. The superframe structure of IEEE 802.22 consists of 16 frames each of 10 ms. This 10 ms sub-frame in IEEE 802.22 is capable to send data on uplink frequency using upstream burst.

TL;DR: The better understanding of different fault tolerance techniques which are used according to their policies and tools is discussed and the comprehensive taxonomy of faults, errors and failures is described.
Abstract: Fault tolerance in cloud computing platform is a crucial issue as it guarantees the availability, performance and reliability of the applications. In order to achieve the availability, reliability, performance, robustness and dependability in cloud computing, failure should be accessed and handled effectively. This paper discusses the better understanding of different fault tolerance techniques which are used according to their policies and tools. This paper also describes the comprehensive taxonomy of faults, errors and failures. The usage of taxonomy and survey results are not only used to identify the similarities but also to identify the areas requiring for future research.
