Abstract: For detecting rice disease early and accurately, we presented an application of image processing techniques andSupport Vector Machine (SVM) for detecting rice diseases.Rice disease spots were segmented and their shape and texture features were extracted. The SVM method was employed to classify rice bacterial leaf blight, rice sheath blight and rice blast. The results showed that SVM could effectively detect and classify these disease spots to an accuracy of 97.2%.

Abstract: The stability of dam slope during rapid drawdown of reservoir water level was computed using slipping arc stability analysis based on finite element computation according to unsaturated soil shear strength theory in combination with a specific reservoir. In the analysis, the dissipating process of pore-water pressure was simulated using unsaturated-unstable seepage theory and the impact of matrix suction on shear strength of soil body was taken into consideration. The computation results disclose the law of changes in the least safety coefficient with the changes of water level and reflect the impact of different parameters and computation methods on the analyzing results with the stability of slope.

Abstract: Mesh stiffness of involutes pair based on Hertz formulation is formulated, take into account the affect of cycloid wheel’s curvature, new calculation method of cycloid-needle pair is presented, a 24-DOF dynamical model of the RV250AII is formulated by lumped-parameter method, solved the dynamic equation by Matlab software, results shows that the nature frequency of the reducer will changing at a tiny range with the turning of cycloid, the bearings support stiffness of planet carrier and the bending stiffness of crankshaft has obvious effect on the nature frequency.

Abstract: Recently, there has been much discussion about new advancementsin processor technology that promise huge performancereturns for a small investment in cryptography .Field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), cell processorsand graphics processor units (GPUs) are all the rage. Weinvestigate the implementation and performance of SHA-1using them, with the view of comparison their salient features.Our results showes that the implementation on FPGAcould achieve the smallest performance-to-price ratio.Butit cost lowest energy, had the smallest area and very stable.GUPs’ performance-to-price ratio is biggest.But its poweris very big around 400-600W and less stable. We can get almostof throughput of GPU using cell Processors and usedless power than GPU around 135W. But its price is higherthan GPUs.

Abstract: In breathing model study, most research focus on the characteristic of breathing system. Less study concentrate on the breath power. In order to get the sponeous breath model, respiratory muscle pressure must be taken into consideration. In this paper, the respiratory muscle pressure of autonomous respiration is used as source power and the simplest linear model is used in the model construction. Simulink is utilized as the tool, respiratory flow is obtained, which validated the model.
