TL;DR: The main idea is the use of a centralized detection approach, where the base station decides on potential intrusions based on control packets sent from the cluster heads, which is simple and energy efficient and thus suitable for sensor nodes with resource constrained.
Abstract: Despite of their energy efficiency, most of WSN's cluster-based routing protocols are vulnerable to security threats Selective forwarding and black hole attacks are ranked among the most devastating attacks which they target this class of routing protocols In this paper, a new centralized intrusion detection system is proposed to detect selective forwarding and black hole attacks in cluster-based wireless sensors networks The main idea is the use of a centralized detection approach, where the base station decides on potential intrusions based on control packets sent from the cluster heads The proposed intrusion detection technique is simple and energy efficient, it is thus suitable for sensor nodes with resource constrained The simulation results confirm the expected performance of the proposed IDS in terms of security and energy efficiency

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors assessed the importance of generic and technical managerial competencies needed by hospitality management graduates in India from the perspectives of industry professionals and educators and found that industry professionals agreed on the importance and importance of the 6 generic managerial factors but differed on the technical managerial factors associated with operations management and innovation.
Abstract: This study assessed the importance of generic and technical managerial competencies needed by hospitality management graduates in India from the perspectives of industry professionals and educators A self-administered questionnaire was mailed to both participant groups in India Results of this research identified 6 dimensions of generic managerial competencies and 7 dimensions of technical managerial competencies The differences between industry professionals’ and hospitality educators’ perceptions of the importance of managerial competencies were further identified Industry professionals and hospitality educators agreed on the importance of the 6 generic managerial factors but differed on the importance of technical managerial factors associated with operations management and innovation Implications for hospitality education programs in India are provided to develop curricula that better prepare graduates for positions within the industry

TL;DR: In this paper, the analysis of the data performed by finite-range coupled reaction channel and coupled-channel Born approximation methods was performed to derive the one and two-proton spectroscopic amplitudes for the projectile and target overlaps.
Abstract: Two-nucleon transfer reactions are essential tools to investigate specific features of the nuclear structure, such as the correlation among valence particles in the transfer process. Besides, transfer reactions may be an important channel to take into account in charge-exchange processes since they can represent a competing contribution to the final cross section. The two-proton pickup transfer reaction $^{40}\mathrm{Ca}(^{18}\mathrm{O},^{20}\mathrm{Ne})\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}^{38}\mathrm{Ar}$ has been measured at 270 MeV, and the angular distributions for transitions to different excited states extracted. This paper shows the analysis of the data performed by finite-range coupled reaction channel and coupled-channel Born approximation methods. Extensive shell-model calculations are performed to derive the one- and two-proton spectroscopic amplitudes for the projectile and target overlaps. The role of the simultaneous and sequential two-proton transfer mechanisms to populate the measured final states or groups of states, mainly characterized by a high collectivity, is also discussed.
