TL;DR: In this paper, a two-choice reaction task with targets occurring 500, 1500, or 2500 ms after an acoustic warning signal was performed, and the response time results showed the expected pattern and were accompanied by similar effects on a fronto-central CNV and the lateralized readiness potential.

TL;DR: It is hypothesized that the different effects of intensity result from the simplified neuronal processing of exogenous saccades performed in the direct route from the retina to the superior colliculus.
Abstract: Reaction time (RT) decreases with stimulus intensity. Hughes and Kesley (1984) demonstrated, however, that the effect of stimulus intensity on simple RT is larger for manual than for saccadic responses. We reexamined this relation under various conditions. The dissociation occurred when the task enabled the generation of exogenous saccades. We found, however, no dissociation if endogenous saccades had to be executed. It is hypothesized that the different effects of intensity result from the simplified neuronal processing of exogenous saccades performed in the direct route from the retina to the superior colliculus.

TL;DR: In this article, a systematic study of the Gottlieb groups of spheres for k = 8, 9, 11 and k = 10, 12, 13 was carried out by means of homotopy theory methods.
Abstract: This paper takes up the systematic study of the Gottlieb groups $G_{n+k}(\S^n)$ of spheres for $k\le 13$ by means of the classical homotopy theory methods. The groups $G_{n+k}(\S^n)$ for $k\le 7$ and $k=10,12,13$ are fully determined. Partial results on $G_{n+k}(\S^n)$ for $k=8,9,11$ are presented as well. We also show that $[\iota_n,\eta^2_n\sigma_{n+2}]=0$ if $n=2^i-7$ for $i\ge 4$.

TL;DR: The method of construction of systems electromechanical analogies has been given and applied to the problems of acousto–electric waves propagation in porous long bones in order to derive an unified method of analysis of these problems by means of the methods used in the electric transmission line theory.
Abstract: Basing on the algebraic theory of dimensional analysis given by S. Drobot [3] and extended by A. Muciek [4], the definition of a system of mechano–electric analogies has been proposed as an isomorphism of dimensional subspaces: of all the mechanic quantities Πm and of all the electric quantities Πe. The method of construction of systems electromechanical analogies has been given and applied to the problems of acousto–electric waves propagation in porous long bones in order to derive an unified method of analysis of these problems by means of the methods used in the electric transmission line theory.
