TL;DR: In this paper, a UE can decode the PDSCH in the subframe of the serving cell based on rate-matching around the resource elements indicated by the ZP-CSI-RS configuration.
Abstract: A UE can receive Zero Power Channel State Information Reference Signal (ZP-CSI-RS) configuration information for an aperiodic ZP-CSI-RS of a serving cell. The UE can receive Downlink Control Information (DCI) on a physical control channel in a subframe of the serving cell. The DCI can indicate whether a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) of the UE in the subframe of the serving cell is rate-matched around resource elements indicated by the ZP-CSI-RS configuration information. The UE can decode the PDSCH in the subframe of the serving cell based on rate-matching around the resource elements indicated by the ZP-CSI-RS configuration when the DCI indicates the PDSCH of the UE is rate-matched around the resource elements indicated by the ZP-CSI-RS configuration.

TL;DR: A vision model for individual colorimetric observers that can be beneficial in many color-critical applications such as color grading and soft proofing to assess ranges of color matches instead of a single average match is proposed.
Abstract: This study proposes a vision model for individual colorimetric observers. The proposed model can be beneficial in many color-critical applications such as color grading and soft proofing to assess ranges of color matches instead of a single average match. We extended the CIE 2006 physiological observer by adding eight additional physiological parameters to model individual color-normal observers. These eight parameters control lens pigment density, macular pigment density, optical densities of L-, M-, and S-cone photopigments, and λmax shifts of L-, M-, and S-cone photopigments. By identifying the variability of each physiological parameter, the model can simulate color matching functions among color-normal populations using Monte Carlo simulation. The variabilities of the eight parameters were identified through two steps. In the first step, extensive reviews of past studies were performed for each of the eight physiological parameters. In the second step, the obtained variabilities were scaled to fit a color matching dataset. The model was validated using three different datasets: traditional color matching, applied color matching, and Rayleigh matches.

TL;DR: Although the design of these channels is based on LTE, there are some differences, particularly in the uplink, with the introduction of subcarrier-level transmission, which enables the achievement of the stated targets for NB-IoT.
Abstract: In 3GPP Rel-13, a narrowband system based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) is being introduced to provide wide-area cellular connectivity for the Internet of Things. This system, named Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT), can be deployed in three different operation modes - (1) stand-alone as a dedicated carrier, (2) in-band within the occupied bandwidth of a wideband LTE carrier, and (3) within the guard-band of an existing LTE carrier. The design targets of NB-IoT include low-cost devices, high coverage (20-dB improvement over GPRS), long device battery life (more than 10 years), and massive capacity. Latency is relaxed although a delay budget of 10 seconds is the target for exception reports. This paper discusses the design and performance of the downlink and uplink data channels. Although the design of these channels is based on LTE, there are some differences, particularly in the uplink, with the introduction of subcarrier-level transmission. The similarities have enabled rapid specification, while the enhancements in the design enable the achievement of the stated targets for NB-IoT.

TL;DR: In performed experiments, it is shown that the creation of regression test suites of an industrial partner can be improved by providing more effective test cases based on keywords analysis in an automatic way.
Abstract: Regression testing is a safety measure to attest that changes made on a system preserve prior accepted behavior. Identifying which test cases must compose a regression test suite in a certain development stage is tricky, particularly when one only has test cases and change requests described in natural language, and the execution of the test suite will be performed manually. That is the case of our industrial partner. We propose a selection of regression test cases based on information retrieval and implement as a web-service. In performed experiments, we show that we can improve the creation of regression test suites of our industrial partner by providing more effective test cases based on keywords analysis in an automatic way.
