TL;DR: In this paper, the field strength measurement method involves measuring stray radio field strengths at defined critical frequencies over a wide total frequency range, where variations in the azimuth of the device under investigation as well as the polarisation and height of the measurement antenna of the measuring device are accounted for.
Abstract: The field strength measuring method involves measuring stray radio field strengths at defined critical frequencies over a wide total frequency range. Variations in the azimuth of the device under investigation as well as the polarisation and height of the measurement antenna of the field strength measurement device are accounted for. The critical frequencies are determined by a previous measurement of stray radio power over the frequency range. A limit value LP = LF - RF is used for the power measurement, where LF is the limit value specified by standards and RF is the measured frequency-dependent level difference between the stray radio power and amplitude levels. ADVANTAGE - Enables accuracy of stray radio field amplitude measurements to be achieved in minimal measurement times.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluate a characteristic feature of messages which are transmitted via one service access point without reading all information related to all available messages, where a message analysis device includes a storage device for storing messages, a selection device for reading a series of sequential messages, and a display device for the display of at least one first region 16 and one second region 17.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a characteristic feature of messages which are transmitted via one service access point without reading all information related to all available messages. SOLUTION: A message analysis device 10 includes a storage device 13 for storing messages, a selection device 14 for reading a series of sequential messages, and a display device 15 for the display of at least one first region 16 and one second region 17. In the first region 16, a series of messages read by the selection device 14 from the memory device 13 can be displayed as a list. The selection device 14 determines a characteristic feature of messages for at least one service access point, transmitted by the service access point, whereby a curve for the characteristic feature may be displayed on the display device 15 in the second region 17. TL;DR: In this article, a method and a device for calibrating vector network analyzers, comprising n (n>3) test ports (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d), several calibration measurements are being taken when several different calibration standards are connected to the test ports.
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a device for calibrating vector network analyzers, comprising n (n>3) test ports (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d), several calibration measurements being taken when several different calibration standards are connected to the test ports (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d). Several measurements are taken for calibration purposes. In a first method, each additional two-port test network is successively contacted first in a first measurement based on a two-port reference test network by means of a direct connection or a short adapted line that has a known reflection, length, and damping, whereupon all n test ports (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d) are terminated in a second measurement by means of known input impedances having any transmission characteristics. In a third measurement, all test ports (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d) are terminated by means of unknown identical, reflecting terminals.

TL;DR: An optically clocked 10 GS/s-sampler monolithically integrated in a photonic 0.25 μm SiGe-BiCMOS technology, which uses an ultra-stable optical pulse train generated by a hybrid mode-locked laser to sample an electrical signal.
Abstract: This paper presents an optically clocked 10 GS/s-sampler monolithically integrated in a photonic 0.25 μm SiGe-BiCMOS technology, which uses an ultra-stable optical pulse train generated by a hybrid mode-locked laser to sample an electrical signal. The integrated circuit includes optical waveguides, as well as a grating coupler, Germanium photodiodes with a bandwidth of >50 GHz, and an integrate-and-dump sampler. Experimental results demonstrate an analog bandwidth exceeding 30 GHz, a jitter of <30 fs, as well as a THD of <-33 dB over the entire bandwidth, and a SNR of 35.3 dB.

TL;DR: In this article, a probe tip is touched down to the electrical conductor if the contact pressure exceeds the fixed pressure and measuring instrument is activated or stopped, and a control element is attached at a grasp of the probe tip.
Abstract: Probe (1), connected over an interface (8) to an electronic measuring instrument (9), has a probe tip (2) at which pressure sensor (6) is available. A control element (7), attached at a grasp (3) of the probe, exhibits a conductivity sensor. Pressure sensor detects a contact pressure on the probe tip. Probe tip is touched down to the electrical conductor if the contact pressure exceeds the fixed pressure and measuring instrument is activated or stopped.
