TL;DR: In this paper, a search for a Higgs boson decaying into a pair of electrons or muons and a photon was described, and limits were set on the cross section for a standard model Higgs particle decaying to opposite-sign electron or muon pairs.
Abstract: A search for a Higgs boson decaying into a pair of electrons or muons and a photon is described. Higgs boson decays to a Z boson and a photon (H → Zγ → llγ, l = e or μ), or to two photons, one of which has an internal conversion into a muon pair (H → γ*γ → μμγ) were considered. The analysis is performed using a data set recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC from proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb−1. No significant excess above the background prediction has been found. Limits are set on the cross section for a standard model Higgs boson decaying to opposite-sign electron or muon pairs and a photon. The observed limits on cross section times the corresponding branching fractions vary between 1.4 and 4.0 (6.1 and 11.4) times the standard model cross section for H → γ*γ → μμγ (H → Zγ → llγ) in the 120–130 GeV mass range of the llγ system. The H → γ*γ → μμγ and H → Zγ →llγ analyses are combined for mH =125GeV, obtaining an observed (expected) 95% confidence level upper limit of 3.9 (2.0) times the standard model cross section.

TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic review was conducted following the guidance of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Observational, experimental and qualitative studies in English and Spanish, published between 2008 and 2019 were included.
Abstract: Breastfeeding can be affected by maternal employment. This is important considering that in 2019, 47.1% of women globally participated in the labor force. The aim of this study was to review workplace interventions to promote, protect and support breastfeeding practices among working mothers globally. A systematic review was conducted following the guidance of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Observational, experimental and qualitative peer-reviewed studies in English and Spanish, published between 2008 and 2019 were included. The review focused on working women who were pregnant, breastfeeding or who recently had a child, and women’s working environments. The outcomes of interest included breastfeeding intentions, initiation, exclusivity and duration, confidence in breastfeeding or breastmilk extraction, and perceived support at workplace. Quality was assessed according to National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) checklist for systematic reviews. It was registered on PROSPERO (#140624). Data was extracted from 28 quantitative and 9 qualitative studies. The most common interventions were designated spaces for breastfeeding or breastmilk extraction (n = 24), and the support from co-workers (n = 20). The least common interventions were providing breast pumps (n = 4) and giving mothers the flexibility to work from home (n = 3). Studies explored how interventions affected different breastfeeding outcomes including breastfeeding duration, breastfeeding exclusivity, confidence in breastmilk expression, and breastfeeding support. The evidence suggests that workplace interventions help increase the duration of breastfeeding and prevent early introduction of breastmilk substitutes. Having a lactation space, breastmilk extraction breaks, and organizational policies are key strategies. However, to achieve equitable working conditions for breastfeeding mothers, organizational and interpersonal changes need to occur as well. The systematic review revealed that interventions at the workplace are important in protecting, promoting and supporting breastfeeding among working mothers. To achieve equitable work environments and fair nutritional opportunities for infants of working mothers, interventions should focus at the three ecological layers – individual, interpersonal, and organizational. The quality of studies can be improved. There is a need for studies assessing impacts of workplace interventions on infant feeding practices, mothers’ self-esteem and outcomes such productivity and abstentionism.

TL;DR: In this article, a polymer concrete (PC) was developed by using different concentrations of silica sand as aggregate and a commercial unsaturated preaccelerated polyester resin.
Abstract: Polymer concrete (PC) was developed by using different concentrations of silica sand as aggregate and a commercial unsaturated preaccelerated (orthophtalic) polyester resin. The PC specimens were submitted to gamma radiation at several dosages: 5, 10, 50, 100, and 150 kGy. Mechanical performance was evaluated including the compressive strength, the compressive strain at yield point, and the compression modulus of elasticity. As expected, mechanical properties depend on both the resin concentration and the applied radiation dose. Improvement achieved in mechanical properties is related to the morphological characteristics observed by scanning electron microscopy. POLYM. COMPOS., 2008. © 2008 Society of Plastics Engineers

TL;DR: In central Pb-Pb events, a larger fraction of the jet momentum is observed at larger distances from the jet axis compared to pp, reflecting the interaction between the partonic medium created in heavy ion collisions and the traversing partons.
Abstract: The modification of jet shapes in PbPb collisions, relative to those in pp collisions, is studied for jets associated with an isolated photon. The data were collected with the CMS detector at the LHC at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV. Jet shapes are constructed from charged particles with track transverse momenta ($p_{\mathrm{T}}$) above 1 GeV$/c$ in annuli around the axes of jets with $p_{\mathrm{T}} \gt 30$ GeV$/c$ associated with an isolated photon with $p_{\mathrm{T}} \gt 60$ GeV$/c$. The jet shape distributions are consistent between peripheral PbPb and pp collisions, but are modified for more central PbPb collisions. In these events, a larger fraction of the jet momentum is observed at larger distances from the jet axis, reflecting the interaction between the partonic medium created in heavy ion collisions and the traversing partons.
