Abstract: Based on the domestic and international research in the past few decades,we present an intelligent non-destructive diagnostic instrument for coronary artery disease(CAD).This instrument analyses the multi-channel heart sounds of patients who have coronary artery disease and combines other information about CAD,then wavelet analysis,artificial neural network and pattern recognition technology are also used.The result of clinic application indicates that this instrument has certain reference value to the diagnosis of CAD and provides potential possibility of general examination.

Abstract: A continuous noninvasive method for blood pressure (BP) estimation by pulse wave transit time (PWTT) is described. A constant linear relation is available between PWTT and BP, but characteristic parameter for the relation is different for different persons. According to hydrostatics, BP in some vessel changes with different body postures. In this paper, the difference, i.e. △BP, between two BP values with different body postures is gained. ECGs and surface pulse waves are also obtained, and then values of PWTT are calculated. Through the A BP and PWTT acquired above, parameter b of BP equation can be determined, and then parameter a is computerized through the measurements and one BP value. Thus a BP equation is got, which can be used to estimate BP values through continuous measurement of PWTT. Compared with the value from invasive BP measurement, the value from this method has an error rate less than 5%. The method is feasible for noninvasive continuous BP monitoring.

Abstract: Wavelet transform is applied to synchronous extraction and analyses for time -domain feature values and frequency-domain ones of pulse signals for its advantages on time-frequency localization and saltation site detection of non-stationary signal. The energy feature of the pulse on different time scales is selected as the new feature value to distinguish the pulse. With this new feature value, the recognition rate for such basic pulses as fast pulse, slow pulse, feeble pulse, hollow pulse and astringent pulse is more than 90%, and the rate for concurrent pulses is more than 82%.

Abstract: The ratio of signal-noise of the ECG(electrocardiogram) signal is low.In order to eliminate the noise in ECG,improve the performance of ECG monitors and the diagnosis efficiency of computer-aided system,various kinds of noise rejection methods have been proposed.Generally,maybe all of them are useful to the denoising in some certain,but not full.In this thesis,a series of denoising steps are introduced.As a result,a relatively original ECG waveform is detected.

Abstract: Fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering algorithm is a popular model widely used in the segmentation of magnetic resonance image (MRI) The conventional FCM doesn't involve the spatial information of MRI and then unexpected segmentation results appear when it is applied to inhomogeneous MRI with noise and bias field Modifying the objective function of FCM and introducing a variable as the parameter to control the tight degree of neighborhood effect present a spatial model to FCM clustering algorithm The variable can reasonably use the spatial information of MRI The experiment results show that the proposed algorithm can provide a powerful segmentation than the conventional FCM and others

Abstract: A 16-channel magnetic inductive impedance imaging system is developed. The relation between the amplitude, phase of the detected signal and the subject position is studied. High-precision techniques for amplitude discrimination and phase discrimination are applied to information acquisition. The changing rule of the amplitude and phase of the sensing signal along horizontal and vertical directions is determined, and thus the sensitivity curve is achieved. It's proved that detected signals vary regularly with different positions, and the study on regulation is useful for image reconstruction.
