Abstract: Jatrorrhizine and epiberberine in C.chinensis were isolated using polyamide column and their effects on glucose consumption and proliferation of HepG2 cell were determined to enhance the utilization rate of C.chinensis and provide the physical basis for research of other pharmacology activities of jatrorrhizine and epiberberine.The results showed that polyamide column had good isolation effect for jatrorrhizine and epiberberine due to hydrogen bond adsorption and reversed phase chromatography effect.All the four kinds of alkaloids had certain effects on glycometabolism.The capacities of glucose consumption showed in decreasing sequence as berberinecoptisinejatrorrhizineepiberberine.5 mg/L berberine had significant inhibition effect on cell proliferation.

Abstract: Six pests were treated by cantharidin with different patters to study the insecticidal effect.The results show that cantharidin has the contact activity agaist all tested pests and the stomach activity agaist some pests,but no systemic activity and fumigant actiivity.Mukaria pallipes was the most sensitive to cantharidin,and the LD50 value was 0.00331 μg/♀.In the next place,The LD50 of Nilaparvata lugens,Bambusiphaga furca,Plutella Xylosella and Sogatella furcifera treated by cantharidin after 24h was 0.00915 μg/♀,0.01001 μg/♀,0.01830 μg/head and 0.01896 μg/♀ respectively.The 3rd instar larva was the most insensitive to cantharidin,and the LD50 value was 0.9005 μg/head.
