TL;DR: This work is developing a prototype that is a smart band which gets activated by tapping on the screen twice and starts sending the GPS location to the ICE contacts and police control rooms.
Abstract: Women security is need of the hour now-a-days. In India, there are many cases of women harassment and molestation. Safety of women matters let be whether at home, outdoor or it be their work place. The literature surveyed shows that there are many mobile applications that are used for women safety purpose. One recent research study shows that there is a footwear chip which is sticked to the footwear that gets activated when the person taps one leg behind the other 4 times. We focus on developing a prototype that is a smart band which gets activated by tapping on the screen twice. Once the device is activated it starts sending the GPS location to the ICE contacts and police control rooms. There is a pulse rate sensor embedded in the device that senses the pulse rate of the person and a temperature senor that senses body temperature of the person. The band when thrown with force the force sensor will get activated and sends the current location of the victim. A Piezo buzzer siren will get activated after 1–2 mins of the actual device getting turned on. The range of the buzzer is of 80–110 dB which can be heard from a distance of 50 feet long. An electric shock circuit is designed that emits electric current. On the top of the band screen there are two metal points that generates the shock when the two metal points come in contact with any surface or anybody. The device supports a micro usb charging. A smart application will be developed on the android platform which is connected with the device via bluetooth interface that shows the sensed data of the subject to the ICE contacts. Until the device is turned off it will send the location on the interval of 5 mins and will keep on beeping continuously.

TL;DR: In this article, a study was conducted to determine if there is a correlation between land use type and concentrations of heavy metals in soil and characterisation of soil using atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS).
Abstract: As we know that the soil is the most important component of earth ecosystem, which has four key functions: it is a means for the growth of plants, is a means of storage, supply and purification of water, is a modifier of the earth's atmosphere. Soils can be infected by the accumulation of heavy metals and metalloids through the emissions of industrial waste, elimination of high quality metal waste, application of soil fertilizers, sludge purification, pesticides, sewage irrigation, coal combustion residues, petrochemical spills and atmospheric storage. Even though heavy metals are naturally found in the soil, geological and anthropogenic activities increase the concentration of heavy metals in harmful quantities which is dangerous for both plants and animals. In forensic science heavy metal analysis of soil Heavy metal is providing a unique fingerprint of any soil. The goal of this study will to determine if there is a correlation between land use type and concentrations of heavy metals in soil and characterisation of soil.Atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) is a technique which is helpful to measuring the quantities of trace elements present in soil samples.

TL;DR: Highlighting the uniqueness of usage of this idea, would result into involution of more prominent ways of segregation of vegetables in a food production industry as per the requirement, in the territory wherein the only agriculture holds the backbone of economy.
Abstract: Recognition is one of the main areas in computer vision, it yields high-level understanding by computers, one of the most important areas in recognition is object recognition which is the process of finding a specific object in an image or video sequence [16]. This paper is purposing the glimpse of the recognition of a particular vegetable [17]. This is being implemented on the TensorFlow platform, which is making use of OpenCV as the main library database. TensorFlow [20] algorithm uses tensor as its basic unit of information. Firstly the given frame is converted into an image and differentiated into cubical parts from which the features are extracted, so to converged it into the data set[3]. Such data sets are encapsulated from every cubical unit, emerged as the whole bunch of values after traversing thoroughly through given frame. Having these values, the certain frame is categorized into one of the sets of images provided, at the conclusion side percentage-wise isolation of objects is done, and here the vegetables are being identified and corresponding action should be executed [6]. Highlighting the uniqueness of usage of this idea, would result into involution of more prominent ways of segregation of vegetables in a food production industry as per the requirement, in the territory wherein the only agriculture holds the backbone of economy [18]. The use of image processing techniques is of outstanding implication for the analysis of agricultural operations [16]. Vegetable and vegetable classification is one of the major applications that can be utilized in the supermarket to automatically detect the kind of the vegetable or vegetable purchased by the customer and to generate the costs for it. A simple android app has been developed to carry out this task [21] [23] [17].

TL;DR: There is need to compare various agents available in market on various properties like ODP, GWP, atmospheric lifetime, design concentration etc and hence to determine the best agent.
Abstract: With the advancement in technology, industrial operations and processes are becoming more and more complex and hazardous day by day. The major threat for industries now a days is fire and fire hazards. Water is no longer capable to extinguish all classes of fire. Water is not a clean agent, it leaves residue after its function. It cannot be used with costly equipment and with class C fire hazards. Hence new and improved extinguishing agents are developing day by day. According to National Fire Protection Association, these new agents are termed as “Clean Agents”. These new agents are much more effective and capable of extinguishing fire in its initial stages with very less concentration of agents in comparison to water. Many agents are invented for example Argon Gas, Nitrogen Gas etc. but with new technology various new agents are being invented till today, for example Novec 1230. Earlier halons are used with most of the fixed fire fighting systems but because of its high Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP) and Global Warming Potential (GWP), halons are banned for general applications. Halons were most effective in extinguishing fire than any other agent till date. Various halons replacements are invented but no ideal halon replacement is found till date. So there is need to compare various agents available in market on various properties like ODP, GWP, atmospheric lifetime, design concentration etc. and hence to determine the best agent.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss about types of cracks, causes of cracking and preventive measures to be taken along with the techniques for treatment of cracks and discuss about the preventive measures for treating cracks.
Abstract: Building cracks are most common type of problem in any type of building. So, it is important to understand the cause and the measures to be taken for prevention. Some faulty steps during construction and some unavoidable reasons different type of cracks starts to appear on various structural and nonstructural parts of the building. So, timely identification of such cracks and adopting preventive measure are essential. Though cracks in concrete cannot be prevented entirely but they can be controlled by using adequate material and technique of construction and considering design criteria. Structural cracks are the one whose inherent cause lies in either in incorrect design, or faulty construction or overloading and are the one which can endanger the safety of a given structure. On the other hand, the non-structural cracks are the one which have the underlying origin due to moisture or thermal fluctuations, elastic deformation, creep, chemical reaction, or reason related to the foundation soil such as it movement or settlement or unhindered vegetation. Non-structural cracks are mostly due to internally induced stresses in building materials and these generally do not directly result in structural weakening. In this paper, we will discuss about types of cracks, causes of cracking and preventive measures to be taken along with the techniques for treatment of cracks.

TL;DR: Prakash et al. as discussed by the authors classified soil types by their characteristics and fertility, predict soil types through classification technique like naïve bayes and also compared this classification technique to among classification techniques like zeroR and stacking.
Abstract: India is predominantly an farming country. Indian soil is classified into two diverse types North Indian Soil and South Indian soil. We have separated it into two basically dissimilar sets are north Indian soil and South Indian Soil. North Indian Soil is the Northern India plains are habitually created of deep alluvial soil. The top soil varies in surface from sand to clay, the larger part being light loam, leaky in texture, simply worked and in nature fruitful. South Indian soil is the Southern India peninsular earth plane is prepared up of hills and river valleys. Hilly tracts are naturally not fitting for farming, some moorland are very warm [Prakash,2015]. The objective of this work is to classify soil types by their characteristics and fertility, predict soil types through classification technique like naïve bayes and also compared this classification technique to among classification technique like zeroR and stacking. This research goal is to judge new data mining techniques apply on soil database for classification of soil and in addition contrast the naïve bayes classifier to another classifier [3]. Soil database is hiered from multiple soil websites like Krishi vigyan kendra, Krishiworld.com, farmer.gov.in and krishijagran.com.

TL;DR: This paper proposes another strategy utilizing K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) to make a machine that can straightforwardly read the electrical images from a hand drawn circuit picture.
Abstract: Electrical diagram is foundation in electrical science. A circuit diagram pass on numerous data about the framework. Behind any gadget there are a lot of electrical fixings which play out their particular tasks, today all the electrical programming instruments neglected to successfully change over the data naturally from a circuit picture diagram to computerized shape. Henceforth electrical designers ought to physically enter all data into PCs, and this procedure requires some investment and carry mistakes with high likelihood. Besides, when the diagram is hand drawn, the issue is more convoluted for any electrical investigation. Accordingly, in this paper we propose another strategy utilizing K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) to make a machine that can straightforwardly read the electrical images from a hand drawn circuit picture.
