A Legal Analysis of the Enforcement Dilemma of the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions

Abstract: Dilemmas of the implementation of Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions stem from its internal defects and the conflicts between the Convention and WTO.The current trade liberalization mechanism fails to provide a good legal environment for the enforcement of the Convention.Consequently,the association of WTO and the Convention,the balance of various interests,the enhancement of civil society should be promoted and motivated.In China,domestic legislation will focus on the concrete policy of promoting the cultural diversity on the one hand,and on the other hand,efforts should be made on striving for the power of discourse by the Convention in the dispute settlement.

Influence of Microwave on the Ultrastructure of Cellulose I

Abstract: Examined in this study is the variation of crystallinity and crystal plane size of water_swelled cellulose Ⅰ treated by microwave The results from FTIR show that there is no effect of microwaves on the chemical structure of cellulose, but its N_O′KI increases Moreover, the results from WAXD indicate that cellulose Ⅰ still contains noncrystalline and crystalline regions after microwave treating, but its crystallinity and crystal face dimension increase When the microwave power is greater than 128 W and the treating times higher than 4, their effects on crystallinity and crystal face dimension of cellulose are much less

Model reference adaptive control for permanent magnet linear motor drives

Abstract: The simplified mathematical model of the permanent magnet linear motor is developed in this paper. By applying Lyapunov's stability theory, the authors propose a model reference adaptive controller. Then the controller is evaluated by simulation. The results show that the MRAS is superior to the conventional PID controller in dynamic performance and steady precision. The MRAS is robust to the parameter variation and external disturbance.
