TLDR
Although the vining pea industry has made considerable advances during the post-war era, it is the dried pea crop which is currently attracting most attention–-particularly in Europe.
Abstract
Peas (Pisum sativum L.) continue to play an important but changing role in the agricultural and food industries. Although the vining pea industry has made considerable advances during the post-war ...

Yield and quality of forage type pea lines of contrasting leaf types.

TL;DR: Two semi-leafless and five leafed pea lines were evaluated for dry matter, seed and crude protein yield under rainfed conditions in the Bursa region of Turkey; however, leaf type had no effect on forage yield.

Genotype x environment interaction and stability analysis for dry matter and seed yield in field pea (Pisum sativum L.)

TL;DR: Comparison of Cluster and stability analyses showed that the stability analysis fails to recommend cultivars to different regions where yield potential showed significant differences, but it seems, however, that Cluster analysis could be a powerful tool to examine G x E interaction.

Effect of Sowing Season and Seeding Rate on the Morphological Traits and Yields in Pea Cultivars of Differing Leaf Types

TL;DR: Fall sowings and the highest seeding rate produced the highest dry matter, seed and protein yields in all pea cultivars, and semi-leafless varieties presented a clear advantage in the yield determinants under Bursa rain-fed conditions.

Root Growth as a Factor in the Response of Pisum sativum L. to Irrigation

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the beneficial effect of irrigation at flowering arose from the increased availability of nutrients brought about by the increased water supply, and the increase in yield occurred through an increase in the number of seeds set per pod and pods set per plant.
